after seeingf Legacy i CRAVE a Darkseid episode of JL

lets face it he UTTERLY AND COMPLETLY HATES the Man of Steel now -- he actually DARED TO FIGHT DARKSEID HAND TO HAND!

this makes for an all-consuming vengance to burn in darkseids heart, and when he is truly mad he is utterly and entirely devastating


combine him with Luthor and maybe Ras Al-Ghoul and OH MAN what an episode that would be

I don't want to see Darkseid because I would want to see other villains in the DC universe that haven't been shown yet. Like Dr. Polaris or Amazo or Dr. Destiny and the Key.

So true, those second raters may make for some decent episodes but the Darkseid episode is where the poo hits the fan.

Next season,hopefully.With Michael ironside back as the voice of Darkseid,again hopefully.

I think they should slowly build up to it, they way they did with Legacy. And make it a three-parter. Has anyone ever read John Byrne's Galactus vs. Darkseid comic? Highly recommended.

"Legacy" was a great episode! A real turning point for the Superman series. I like how in "Secret Origins" Superman tells the press that he'll do whatever it takes to earn the people's trust back after the damage that was done in "Legacy". (A wonderfu connection) Plus the battle between Darksied and Supes was priceless. (You even get to see some blood, too.) So Darksied making an appearance on Justice Leauge would be a sure fire winner! A plotline where he wants to finish his fight with Superman, or to make Wonder Woman his bride would be a good start. Make it a three part event, and schedule it as either a season premier, or season finaly. As long as Michele Ironside comes back, bring on the lord of Apokalpis!

Yes - definitely check out the above link. That guy's Super Friends stuff is laugh out loud funny. Almost "The Onion" funny.

Supergirl got a quick glimpse of Darksied in Legacy didn't she? When he was being carted away all beaten and bloody!!?

He was really being taken away because his slaves saw Supergirl on the scene and didn't want him to get beat up more! :)

Supergirl also encountered Darseid in the Little Girl Lost storyline.

I've got three words for the inevitable Darkseid appearance...

direct to video.

C'mon Batman Beyond got a DTV and it was great, imagine a JL DTV. Build it up for a while on the series but don't have him personally appear. Maybe Kalibak or Desaad show up, but they're only fringe players, initial scouts. Then in the DTV Darkseid launches the full invasion when the New Gods are somehow unavailable.
