avatar help

[Apache Chief]

I've found some great pictures of Apache Chief, everyone's favorite super-sized Indian, but whenever I try and use them as my avatar, I'm told they're too big. But the pictures I'm using are no larger or more complex than other avatar's I've seen. What's the procedure here? :confused:

Try saving it as a .gif instead and then it should work. If not, send the avatar to me at vince@toonzone.net and I'll fix it up for you.

Yeah, I'm going to take you up on that. I just can't get it to work. The picture I want to use is from a very funny Super Firends site, that really makes fun of the old show, but was obviously created with a lot of love. I'll email you. Thanks again.

:eek: just signed up on this board and i can't find the avatars page so i can sellect one. when i went to update my profile and tried to click on the avatars selection it wouldn't come up please help? :yakko:

Someone helped me with this the other day...
You need 10 posts before you can have an avatar, so that's your problem. Once you get to 10, you should be able to use one.

Well that explains it. I was wondering how to get a picture under my name.
