Dirk Benedict - Starbuck from the original Battlestar Galactica series - is currenty in the UK Celebrity Big Brother Household (http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/index.jsp).
I have - FOR SHAME - been watching it. He is currently one of the favourites. Comes across as a very straight forward guy, though I've never seen a man shovel so much food into his face at one time - while trying to talk. Incredible talent.
Other "stars" include one of Michael Jackson's brothers. He doesn't speak much.
Dirk is a bit of news at the moment for having a little jab at one of the other members of the house - Leo Sayer - for never shutting up. It is true as well, the guy wouldn't let anyone finish a sentence for butting in. Seems Dirk's comment hit home with the vibe of the people, and Mr Sayer is sulking on his lonesome.
I can't believe Dirk would do this to me - make me watch this awful show.
