It bothers me how Codename: Robocod is still getting ported, but James Pond and James Pond 3 have been forgotten.

Also, Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands are still getting ported, but Parasol Stars has been forgotten.

Why won't they re-release these games?

Most obvious choice is NiGHTS Into Dreams. I don't really care anymore if there is a sequel or not, I just freaking want to play it again. Remake it, put it on the virtual console, do something so I can play it again. Or at least stop it with making refrences to it in every other game that is made by Sonic Team. I either want the remake or don't want anything at all. A pinball level featuring NiGHTS themes, or NiGHTS as an unlockable racer in Sonic Riders, just isn't worth it.

...Although, with Sonic Team's track record lately, it would probably be best to just leave it be as they'd be sure to find a way to screw it up.

James Pond? Robocod? I don't think the games were even big sellers in the first place, probably because they were a little too cutesie for gamers tastes.

I wouldn't mind a pokemon gold and silver remake with graphics like diamond and pearl.

I'd still like to see a console port for Konami's Simpson's Arcade game that came out years and years ago. I loved playing that game. It's one of the few Arcade games I've beaten all the way through.

Mario RPG!

square and Nintendo are friends again! This is a classic game that inspried paper mario and M&L. Why won`t they give it a proper re-release?

Dragon Quest 4,5, and 6

Dragon Force

Panzar Dragoon Zwei and Saga(PD1 got ported on Orta as bonus)

Fighters Megamix

Soul Blazer!

(I knew I should have snagged it when I saw it at the game exchange.)

And I trust FFVII is eventually making its way on PS3 download?

Golden Axe II, Golden Axe III, and Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder.

Earthbound
Silent Hill 1
Virtual On
More of the old Lucas Arts adventure games
Illusion of Gaia
Solstice/Equinox

The best port I can think of would have to be Fallout 1&2 for the Wii's VC. That would be pure gold and would boost exposure for Fallout 3 exponentially.

I'd say Earhbound, but it's been mentioned twice. So, I'll stick with the other Nintendo standard: Kid Icarus.

Golden Axe II, Golden Axe III, and Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder.
Golden Axe 1,2, and 3 were all on the Sega Genesis Colelction for the PS2 and PSP

Also I would like Knuckles Chaotix to make an appearence with a port of some sort since it is the only older sonic game to never to be ported, everything from Sega genesis to Saturn has been ported(including all the Gamegear titles)

Also all of the old Neo geo fighters and Brawlers, from what few I've had the chance to play on a proper console or kiosk I've really enjoyed them

Yea i agree, i want a remake of NiGHTS, but a good one. And if Sonic Team cant be up to par, then forget it. Even the creator said if there was a remake or sequel, it will go to the Wii... of course.

Dragon Quest 4,5, and 6

Dragon Force

Panzar Dragoon Zwei and Saga(PD1 got ported on Orta as bonus)

Virtua On Series

Shining Force III

I agree with all of the above (Even thought i have Zwei and Virtua On on my Saturn)... The day i get a Nintendo Wii is the day the Wii has Saturn games and particularly, Panzer Dragoon Saga and all of Shining Force III... it might cost less to get the Wii than the games themself (even though i have a Saturn)

And im positive they did Virtual On for Dreamcast, but just in japan...

And i just remembered, Zombies ate my Neighbors...

The Ys games hands down. Nintendo, if you're listening, get that Turbo CD option for the Wii up and running so you can offer it.

I'm not too sure but I believe I saw a PC port of the game in a Radio Shack back in '92 or '93. Or I could've imagined it.

Yep there was a PC port. The graphics were worse than the arcade, but everything else stayed intact.

Bad DudesI'm not sure if it counts, but it was originally an arcade game, and it was ported to the NES.

The arcade version and the NES version were quite different. For instance, the two player mode in the arcade had both players on the screen at the same time. On the NES version, the two players took turns.

The NES controls for Bad Dudes seemed kinda clunky compared to the Arcade version. I found it harder to beat certain enemies at times.

But a port would be nice.

I wouldn't mind a pokemon gold and silver remake with graphics like diamond and pearl.

Why? It would be a waste of time. Would you prefer to just play Gold/Silver with the worse graphics and have all new Pokemon experiences instead?
