How far do you go (one way) to get to your Job, School, etc. on a daily basis?

It's hard to tell how many miles the bus has to travel when it keeps on turning around in circles and stuff, but it takes about 30 minutes to get to the school.

I don't take the bus to school. I couldn't get up that early. I'm not that far away, though, so my mother just takes me. It takes about 7 minutes to get there in a car. I *could* walk there, but I choose not to for personal reasons. :p

Well, i live about as far away from my school as possible, while still living inside the district. It's between 5 and 10 miles, and takes about 10 minutes to drive there.

It's tough for me. I wake up at 5:30 to get ready. I leave at 6:40 and wait for the bus outside. I'm pretty close to the beginning of the trip and I won't get to school until 7:20. School starts at quarter of 8. I had gotten used to this, though.

When I was in 4th grade, I was in the accellerated learning program, so i got bussed to a non-neighborhood school. I got on the bus at 6 something, and got off at close to 8:20. It was rough. Fortunatley I moved in with my mom after that, and they drove me....IIRC...it's been a LONG time.

On a good day I can make it in 30 minutes, but if I hit traffic it can take over an hour. Ugh.

It takes me about 35/40 minutes to get to work which is okay for now, but I'm going to move closer eventually.

Well, it's a bit different for me... we've got 2 stores now and I work at both. The original store is about 5 - 10 minutes from my house (not sure of milage)... our new store is about 30 - 45 minutes from my house, depending on traffic... makes for one heckuva commute... but I enjoy working at that store

The trip from home to the office (near Giants Stadium) is about 20 miles (25 minutes) each way. Not to bad for the NYC area...

I just live close enough to be allowed to take the bus and not have to walk. So my ride takes like 10 minutes.

My job is pretty close, about two miles away. But the only road there passes through TWO schools just as the kids get there, so things slow down a wee bit.

I'm at school. It takes me between 10-20 minutes to walk anywhere on campus, depending on how close the class is. Fortunately, most of the classes I've taken are relatively close by, within 10-15 min.

I chose to attend the high school farthest from from my house. It's about 10 iles away, a 20-30 minute ride.

I have to drive about 2 miles. I suppose I could walk it if absolutely necessary, but doubt I would try, tho I have had to walk more than two miles before. Definately not fun.

On a good day it takes me about 35-40 minutes, but if it's been snowing you can easily double it. :( I live in the boonies and work in the city.

I drive to school, so it takes about 5 minutes to get there. If I walk its about 20-25 minutes. I've only walked home once though, when my car's battery died and I didn't feel like running around looking for a ride when my house was so close.

We moved two years ago, but from where we used to live, I was I'd say maybe 5 miles from the school, and could get there in like ten minutes, From where we live now...which isn't in the district, but I'm a senior, so they can't do anything about that, lol, I'm 14 miles from the school. At the time of morning that I have to be there, it takes me 30-45 minutes to get to school. But, like on the weekends, or during noon, it can take as little as 15-20 minutes to get home.....but...I'm obviously not going the speed limit then..but no one else is either, lol.

I just moved to another state for my new job about a week and a half ago! It takes me 20 minutes or so to get to work when the traffic is light, but on average, I'd say it takes about 30 minutes.

A twenty minute, approximately 15 mile drive into the heart of the city to go to school four days a week. I should be there now, but I slept in.... again
