What happened to the ATHF movie? I remember them making some hype about it and nothing happened. Does anyone know what happened?:frylock: :shake: :meatwad:

It's already been shown to select audiences. They're trying to get it a theater release.

I really don't think it could work in theatres. I mean, Aqua Teen Hunger Force is popular, but it's not that popular.

Just because it doesn't work for theatres doesn't mean they can't try. The budget appears the same as your average TV episode after all.

Actually the Budget's I beleive about a million dollars. Since I believe every ATHF costs about 80,000 or so to make, that's about the cost of 12 and a half episodes for the movie. And since it's only about 8 or so episodes long I guess they put some extra effort into making it.

Also the movie's finally got an offical release period: March. That's 2 months away. Unknown exactly when in March but it's good to know at least a month for it.

Wikipedia says March 16th, but its unverified, and I wouldn't take much credit in it.

I'd assume at least March though since we've seen no real trailers or anything new since last fall.

March 16th is based on an AS bump where they said the release date was "John 3-16".
