View Full Version : Do you think Croc could have reformed in Sideshow?

He seemed to legitimately feel guilty about ripping off the circus people when he was rummaging around looking for their money, and I think he was starting to bond with the seal boy. I wonder how long he would have stayed with them without stabbing them in the back if not for Batman coming and beating the crap out of him. Personally, I think they'd have bothered him one too many times until he took the money and ran. Probably after awhile.

Nope. But that was the whole point. It doesn't matter that he was finally being accepted for who he was, because even though he has scales and is, essentially, an alligator man, he's a thief and a crook. Like he said, he was "just being himself".

Have a good day.

Yeah, he was far from reform, and probably always will be. But I think "Sideshow" does demonstrate some pure intentions hidden deep underneath those scales that Sealboy might have caught a glimpse of. Who knows what could have happened if not only Batman hadn't interfered, but Sealboy caught him at different times, if Croc had the time to adapt to hunting in the woods...?
