BR Quick question... is this 8PM E/P, 7 Central?

Oh man.. A quad Talkback for 2/10/07?.. HOOSHA!

I'm going to be WAYYYYY Busy in the next six weeks writing.... and who knows.. we might be seeing a rather interesting thing a quad talkback all in one night..(Can I pull it off? Knowing me, Like KP, I (Can) do anything!;)

also another quick question.. Will there be teaser clips (as in promos) Like in 2002?

So there we go.. Kim: called that one..

Don't know. They don't give out THAT much info. I would think they'd give it a decent promo push. But then again, I'm hardly a watcher of that channel so I don't know how they do things -- other than they don't show commercials.

That's the news?!! I was hoping maybe a return of some shows from the past or maybe new line up with old shows. {Sigh} This is good news too becuase I'm a fan of Kim Possible, but they could have just annouced it the day before the airing.

I had a feeling it was going to be this (it's always the obvious choice these days, for some reason). Though it does feel kind of cheap because we already knew Kim Possible Season 4 was coming. But still, great to hear.

The Intriguing thing I find is that three of the four episodes already have been kind of Spolierized (but I won't reveal anything already since a lot of folks have already spolierized it in previous speculation threads).. but that last one.. The Cupid Effect? Oh man..It makes you wonder...

Disney's press rules mandated the way I did it. Sorry if I intimated something bigger.

We knew KP-4 was coming, but I couldn't find any place else that had rock-solid info in terms of date, time and episode #/title.

I think a lot of folks have missed the Larger picture here BR, and in fact I know how it is to be a Press release guy. But Darth tended to miss the Larger picture here... a Picture that shows that Disney is changing..for the better.

First off Let's start with Toon Disney. First off there are now going to be showing of some of the older Disney Afternoon shows (Goof Troop, Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, and even Ducktales. Some of these shows haven't been on Toon Disney in over 2-3 years, in some cases 5 years, and now they are being put in "Respectable Time slots" and even fans are getting Solid Blocks of these older shows. And in fact I was quite pleased to see something like Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers back on Toon Disney. (Hey if I were a Parent and wanted to show my kids what Disney Afternoon was about I would have these shows on, and in respectable Time slots, not at 4:30 in the morning! So that is already one Positive note..

Then we move on to Jetix.. and Jetix is getting some new stuff too, and getting Realigned here for some good stuff.. I mean Come on, How long has it been since anyone has Seen Dungeons and Dragons (I loved that show when it ran on CBS during the 1980's..) and some of the newer stuff is still good, though I would have liked to seen maybe more Get Ed and Witch.. But then you got Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive coming in February to Jetix, you got additional Episodes of some of the other series like Yin Yang Yo! and Pucca. and you got a bit more of Gargoyles as well (Hey it's better then not having Gargoyles on at all!)

And then there's Disney Channel... Come on Darth, we all knew Kim Possible Season 4 was coming.. In fact it's been 22 months in the making.. and now this is just 6 weeks from when the fans get "the rest of the sitch." But that's not all, Take a look at what else is going on.. A new DCOM (Jump In), a New Series (Cory in the House), and new Episodes of Not Only Kim, but also Jake (American Dragon) and Todd and Riley (The Replacements), all shows that are fun to watch. and I think in the end that in itself is yet another reason to watch Disney Channel. after all 2007 is still young..Heck it hasnt' even started.. but still when you think about it, some of those comments I made about the News Up coming might just happen.. We might get to see The Incredibles on Disney Channel We might get to see new animation as well as old on Disney..

In the end, this isn't just about KP but Disney in general.. and from where i stand, I see that Disney is finally reverting back to what it Should be.. Not what it was..

After all There's a New guy in Town and people want Variety, they want a litte bit of the old with a Little bit of the new.. and that's what Disney should be.. A mix and a blend of ideas, and not just Watch, Rinse Repeat.. and you know what? The fans wanted it.. they deserve what they asked for..and with that I'm happy knowing that no one loses.. everyone wins.

and with that I'll say Enough Said, and that's that..

Those titles seem to confirm that this season is going to focus too much on Kim and Ron's relationship. If so, I'll pass.

And I suppose four episodes of KP in a row is a good thing... for fans of the show and for the TWO HOURS it will last.

Back when I first heard about Cory in the House, the same person I heard it from also said there'd be another spin-off of Raven, Eddie, and Chelsa in their college days (basically the cast of That's So Raven splits up into two different shows)

Ron and Barkin trapped in a crate that's being shipped. Barkin appraently talks to a rubber chicken.

Early interviews with season four's crew told us that they really won't focus on the Kim ron relation Ship that much. While it will be there is won't be the focus of every episode with threatining to end the relation ship and crap.

Of course we have to see how it goes but I doubt outside a couple episodes there will be much fucus on it.

And do you know that most of the shows are poorly written and poorly animated, The channel is now a place for the demographic of 2-11 woman and most of that channel shows it, Now If I were in charge, I'd salvage the shows and sell most of the African-American shows to The CW cause thats where it belongs, Well it would of belonged in UPN but they ceased operations.

And did you also know that 13 of the 24 hours is Jetix Programming, Yeah, It's slowing taking over Toon disney and it's mentioned that Toon Disney is just a block in Jetix now and those remaining 11 hours will be taken in Jetix over the following year, Enjoy it while it lasts.

AKA: Their just taking stuff from Saban's Back-Catalog.

The point is that Disney can't make shows that are enjoyable now, I've seen that Kim Possible has a major fan following that got it the 4th season. I can't think of anything else that may have a point.

Sorry, but no amount of words or optimism could disguise the bungle that's going on there. Get Ed was 2005; W.I.T.C.H. just ended, and there doesn't look to be much enthusiasm on Disney's side for the property (JETIX, that is)... the only new show Disney managed to bring this season was Yin Yang Yo!, and that was a co-pro.

Aside from the acquisition of Pucca (I would also say Oban, but that was last last year) and the use of former Saban properties in the lineup, Disney just dropped the ball on Jetix this season. Even in Jetix Europe's 2006 Annual Results (http://www.waidev2.com/php/PDFS/STUDIO_v2_Asset_Library/1962---PDF.pdf), there's really no indication that Get Ed or even W.I.T.C.H. are being optioned for renewal, or that Disney picked up the second season of A.T.O.M. for broadcast in the states.

... now, back to Kim Possible stuff.

8:30 -- 404 -- The Big Job
9:00 -- 403 -- Trading Faces

There will also be a new episode on the following two Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m.

The episode 04-1 is the one on the disney channel trailers

Well, the news isn't much of a surprise, but at least it's finally coming. Now it's time to see if the wait is actually going to be worth it. I'll admit, I've stayed away from the fandom since the first few spoilers of Season 4 leaked a few months ago in a thread here... including a few that seemed odd to me, so my opinion still holds steady at 'cautiously optimistic.'

But we'll see. Even at its worst, KP was still better than a large majority of the other American-produced cartoons out there. I'm confident the crew wouldn't have fought to bring the show back if they couldn't continue to give us that much.

NYTimes Magazine had an article on the Disney Princess line on Xmas Eve... The original line-up was Cinderella (princess by marriage), Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, Belle (princess by marriage), Mulan (not a princess at all), Pocahontas, and Tinker Belle (who was quickly dropped). Given the way they handle it, Kim's not such a stretch.

The whole line's weird with deliberately having each "princess" look into different directions, keeping them in their separate worlds. I just think it's on the careless side in the first place. This looks neat tho' http://www.tokyopop.com/kilalaprincess/index.htm

Kind of weird how they're skipping over 406 - "Fashion Victim". Especially since it's already on Disney's "On Demand" service. Just watched it yesterday.

We're in limbo for anything until the April schedules are released.

No. Disney has not released their May schedules yet. This can happen at anytime. The topic creator will post it the minute he gets it.
