It'd be a shame if CN neglects to finish collecting the series.

News? There's usually just one press release.

With all the announcements that WHV has made this month for April releases, my guess is that we'll hear about Samurai Jack's fourth season next month, or in February.

Yes, `news`. This is the internet! Press releases are usually the last source of info; did Disney issue a press release when it decided NOT to continue Gargoyles? If a release is down the line, we should hear something any day now. I hope CN doesn't do something over-calculated like wait for Dark Crystal 2...

To garner interest for something that's not coming? "Hey, folks, we just wanted you to know that you're not going to be seeing more Gargoyles down the road" sounds like a waste of time to me.

Though, I am worried about Samurai Jack's fourth season. If you'll notice, I said that January was the customary time for SJ press releases... it's Feburary now, and we've heard nothing.

I wasn't suggesting that Cartoon Network should issue a press release. There are many channels through which people related to the show might give inside info; animators love posting on the net. If any word got out, I'm thinking it would eventually get back here. Not yet. Our hope now lies with Home Theater Forum's chat with Warners.

Well, the last 3 seasons were released in May, so it is only obvious season 4 will be in... MAY.

How is this obvious? Samurai Jack hasn't been on the air for years, and Warners can't depend on Clone Wars' raising interest this time.

Well that didn't stop them from releasing Season Three Last year (when there wasn't any Clone Wars or even Star Wars info or shows to be found) and I doubt Genndy and co are going to not let CN/Warner Brothers not make the last DVD without any good reason. As Hades said it will be released in May. The only reason we haven't heard info on it is because CN probably is more concerned with selling DVDs of other newer shows (Like Ben 10, The Teen Titans Movie, and coming next Month Foster's) and will wait till later to promote the last SJ season. At very least I'm sure we'll hear about it by March.

In the Toon Zone DVD forum, Bird Boy just received some distressing news on this subject... (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=183324) :crying::crying::crying:

It's amazing how delusional people get when it comes to tradition. May is doubtful at this point in time, as is any other point in the future not alluded to by WHV.

I'm not upset about its not being released in May; what worries me is despite what BB says, I think there's a good chance we'll never get it.

Yeah... and, I haven't even seen eleven of those episodes. But, I wasn't referring to you necessarily when I said what I said.

I heard that hopefully Warner Home Video will announce Samurai Jack Season 4 on DVD soon, so that I can complete the entire series of Samurai Jack on DVD? Did Samurai Jack Season 3 on DVD sell very well yet? After Samurai Jack Season 4 is released on DVD ton end the series, will there be a direct movie of Samurai Jack and what other Cartoon Network shows will be released? Thank you.
