i just got done watching that toon (for the 1st time)and that by far was the SHORTEST short i have seen
could somebody please inform me as to when cn edited the sceans
and how meny 'black' caritors are there in the short
i have alot of questions about this one short but i'll leave at this

Well...
After the "By A Waterfall" number, Al Jolson in blackface starts singing "September In The Rain" to a caricature of Aunt Jemima on a pancake flour box.
Then, after the dance number, there is a carticature of Fats Waller and some other popular black musician who, as the "Gold Rust" twins start singing "Saganaki". Then the cartoon ends...
I think the cartoon is edited by about 3-4 minutes! Sad, isn't it?

but why Fats Waller and the other popular black musicians
i mean thay were famious and apart of music history

Exactly how I feel. And to think, I actually watched the edited cartoon once! :(
