Super Noah's Ark 3D is a rip-off of Wolfenstein 3D, Bible Adventures is a rip-off of Super Mario Bros. 2, Spiritual Warfare is a rip-off of The Legend of Zelda...

Are there any religious games that aren't rip-offs of other games?

Wait, a Noah's Arc FPS? How's that work? Do you have to kill off all life on the planet, only leaving two of each animal?

You fed the animals when they attacked you. I actually have that game.

I imagine he watched the Angry Videogame Nerd, which covered this topic, and those old Wisdom Tree games.

They're out there. You just don't hear about them because they're not as much fun to mock.

Wisdom Tree's "Joshua" wasn't really a rip-off of anything. What it was, I'm still not sure. Pretty strange game.

The Left Behind game is supposed to royally suck in most aspects according to reviews, so that probably belongs in the rip-off category actually. Don't know what they were smoking when they thought that one up...the whole thing is practically begging to not be taken seriously.

Speaking of which, oh man Wisdom Tree...the sad thing is I used to own one of those games long ago, looking back its unbelievable how terrible they were.Man, so freaking terrible. Horrific graphics, akward gameplay, and the worst NES music I know of--and that's saying something. Argh, bad memory, back in the locked closet of youth where you belong! *shove*

Most reviews also wrote the game play was innovative; just innovated poorly.

God of War...albiet, all of the people that worshipped those gods are long dead.

God of War...albiet, all of the people that worshipped those gods are long dead. OMG I forgot I own "The Age of Mythology" (sequel of Age of Empires). It features the really old religions with many gods on each side.

I think by "rip-off" Wussycat means they copy another game almost exactly.

Wasn't The Bible Game one of those Mario Party rip-offs? I can't say for certain since I've never played it myself...
