Ok, which is the better secret hiding place? I think the batcave is so much cooler than the fortess. my friend here disagrees and thinks the Fortress is better cause it has the zoo and the Krypton thingy happening and of course Brainiac. The Batcave has all of Bats gadgets and computers and is to me just way cooler than the Fortress. What do you guys think?

Is your friend serious? :D

There can be no choice. The Batcave is far more cooler!

Not to say that Supes couldn't have a cool fortress - but he needs to work a little harder on that stylish secret hideaway bit. Nothing can beat the batcave (except, perhaps the old batcave...)

If you're talking coolest location for a secret hideout, it's Superman.

But if you're talking coolest looking, it's Batman. Besides, Superman doesn't even go to the fortress that often anyway.

BTW, I am disappointed with the Superman vs. Batman results.

Batcave, definately. The Fortress of Solitude doesn't have anything more than information on Krypton and a zoo. The Batcave has info on every person, place, and thing in Gotham and possibly the country, or even the world! It also has all that training, and has so many gadgets inside it, it beats the Fortress of Solitude easily. The only time the fortress is ever used is when he needs info on Krypton, which happens rarely, when Batman uses the Batcave almost every episode.

Batcave all the way. I mean, it would be so cool to have an underground hideout beneath your mansion!!! granted...one needs a mansion first, lol. Also, Batman got just pop on down to the cave whenever he feels like it, but the Fortress is pretty far away for Supes! I mean, even though he does have super speed, it's quite a trek just to check up on something. But, the Cave and Fortress are different places. The Cave is an information center, and a gym, a lab, and a place for Batman's "toys" if you will. The Fortress, on the other hand is just a zoo, a library on Krypton, and a place for Supes to go when he needs to think. And Alfred is major part of what makes the Cave so cool..I mean, without Alfred, it wouldn't be as awesome as it is! it's all about the butler.

The fortress of Solitude rules all

#1: the name is SOOOO cool! batcave? come on...
#2: Kryptonian technology is cool as well

the only thing that the batman has going for his lair is that its a huge museum of stuff hes taken from his foes over the years-- im sure that the fortress of solitude has some stuff like that too

I don't know.. it looked that same in Batman Beyond's 'The Call'.

I like both, but I'm willing to bet that if Superman had half the stuff that Batman has in the cave, it'd come out on top...

They're both cool. I love how both have their own galleries and collections. Batman with his Gray Ghost display, and rogues gallery collection. Superman has his zoo of unique creatures, and his Krytonian memorabilia. Location wise, I think Superman has the edge with the north pole. I would hate to be Batman cleaning up the guano in the Batcave. :p

We don't know that because it was rarely used, :(.

I don't think you can compare these two locations, they are totally different and they both serve different purposes.

The Batcave is sort of a headquarter and a controll center. The Fortress of solitude is Superman's private little krypton (or what's left of it) on earth.

Well, I'm a Superman man myself, but Batman does have that really big penny down there, and a dinosaur too. But then again, Superman doesn't have some lame Robin costume in a glass case. (Oh man am I in for it...)

Gonna go with the Fortress on this one - esp the one in the comics right now. Supes has the ability to make as much space as he wants and can basically hide it anywhere. Besides where else can you find a giant sized Eradicator and a tribute to Krypton in the main room. Altho the Batcave is kewl to....

For me it's hard to say. I like them both.

Does the Batcave have the Phantom Zone Projector? I think not! The fortress is a museum all it's own because it has the last remains of dead world's and tell's the final story of Krypton. :) Harley Quinn costume or Brainiac ball? I think we know which one wins! :)

Could have just put my name on this post. If it hadn't been said, THIS is what I would have put. :)

Anyway, after thinking of all that I decided I prefer Superman's place. Ya know, the two hideouts have two completely different objectives to them. The Batcave is used for the costumed occupation, while the Fortress of Solitude is used to get away for a while. That's why I like the Fortress better. Heck, the name of the place says it all for me.

The Fortress, of course! :D It is true they rarely showed it on S:TAS, but when they did, it was so neat. In the Superman Adventures comics, he did have a lot of computers in it, too.

Hmm,tough question--they both have their cool points. But, since I'm such a huge Batman, fan,I'd have to say the Batcave.

The batcave is much, much cooler. Did you see how BIG that place is in "Over the Edge"? Animated Batman has a Frank Miller-sized cave in his basement!
