Where would you rather live, Gotham City or Metropolis? Gotham City is kind of dark and drary. It may have Batman, which of course is too cool, but it is rather depressing. What do you think?

Gotham City is a wasteland. It's a good place to go if you want to fight crime, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Hmmm...
I'd stay away from both these places as they seem to inhabit alot of "criminal activity" but if I had to choose, I'd go with Gotham, it just seems cooler, you know?

Metropolis. Nicer place, big powerful protector and no crazy half faced/clown faced/ice faced pyschos to make life worse for wear... not as many common criminals either... just have to watch out fot accidents - they seem far more probable in Metropolis (just so the supes can shoot down and perform amazing feats of strength - the show off!)...

There's so much property damage in Metropolis though! That's one thing Gotham has on them.

Definatly Metropolis, it's got the world's greatest superhero, it's more advanced, and has a lower crime rate with normal criminals.

Gotham City. Metropolis is like the random-accident capital of the world. Always a construction crane falling, plane losing an engine, or building collapsing. As a regular joe, how could I be assured I wouldn't get smashed flat on day one?
Plus, there's always the danger Superman could be thrown threw my apartment wall someday.

Dark and drary? Gotham City in an instant! :D
Well it depends of which Gotham City you're thinking. I'd rather not live in a Gotham as in BATMAN ('89) That City seemed to be the creepiest place on earth.
In the BTAS universe Gotham is a little brighterand in one episode it was described as America's Playground, so I guess Gotham has a lot of attractions and stuff for entertainment.
I wouldn't like to live in Metropolis, because I live there it automatically means that you work for Luthor, whether you know it or not.

Hehe, I'd go for NYC too..if Nightwing was with me ;) But I would for sure prefer living in Metropolis. Gotham and Metropolis are like night and day...and I'm a very hyper cheerful person...I think Gotham would depress me too much. About the only way I'd live in Gotham would be to try and catch Batman or Nightwing for myself, lol.

And in Metropolis you at least have a chance of seeing the resident superhero in action. Batman's practically invisible.

If I had no choice, and I had to choose one or die, It'd definitly be Metropolis.

In you live in the Marvel Universe NYC, you're going to see a lot more than Spider-Man! The regular person / super-hero ratio there is about 5 to 1! Jump off a building and you can watch them fight over the chance to save you. It's fun.
