Which of these do you think was the best character series of the 1960's LT/MM's (that is, DePatie/Freleng-Hendricks, 1964-1969)?

I'd have to say the Road Runner cartoons. Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote are my favorite WB characters, and all of their shorts are favorites of mine.

I chose Merlin the Magic Mouse, though I am somewhat partial to the Larriva/McKimson Road Runners myself ("Highway Runnery", "Out and Out Rout", and "Sugar and Spies" are my favorites of those). I chose Merlin because he is a likeable enough character with a sort amount of charisma going for him. Also, there is a hint of originality to the character (besides being a rip-off of comedian W.C. Fields, that is) as the concept of a globe-trotting mouse who gets into all sorts of trouble with "help" from his assistant, the pint-sized Second Banana, had not quite been done before (at least to my knowledge) by other studios.
Cool Cat is pretty good; his cartoons that I have seen are quite funny in parts (love the bit in "Cool Cat" where Colonel Rimfire pulls out his dentures when trying to remove the ring from a grenade and tosses them both at Cool Cat who mistakes the tooth-covered grenade for a "new kind of tropical fruit"). However, he is kind of a Pink Panther rip-off (likewise, Colonel Rimfire is kind of a rip-off of the "Little Man" character from the Pink Panther cartoons) so I didn't choose Cool Cat. I DEFINITELY didn't choose Daffy & Speedy; all those who say that this is a bad idea for a series are rather accurate (although some of them look marginally entertaining).
