In Nightwing #63, there is a picture of Dick and it says Jaso, who is it. I'm figuring Jason Todd, but i dont know.
Also, can someone tell me why Alfred left Wayne Manor.
I read that Batman premiered in Detective Comics #27, and now that comic is based on him. So what were the first 26 issues based on?
Also, Batman was kicked out of the jla for a while because he was a traitor. What happened, and how did Batman get back in?\
Sorry for so many questions. Thanks for your help

Alfred left because he felt Bruce was too immature emotionally, and his presence was a crutch for Bruce.
Detective #1-26 were about detectives, wizards, and cowboys. There was a strip called Slam Bradley, and other masked heroes...
Batman was kicked out of the JLA because Ra's Al Ghul found that Batman had files on his teammates, about how to take them out. And he used Batman's plans against the JLA. There was a lot of anger, and Batman was voted out. He didn't stick around to hear the verdict. He left before the voting was done. He got back in by revealing that he was Bruce Wayne, earning the JLA's trust.

That's Jason, but I'm not surprised of the confusion. Jason Todd looked JUST like Dick Grayson when he had the suit on, or even off. PLus the artist on the issue, I believe Trevor McCarthy, wasn't all that good either. I hope this helps. If ya got more questions - ask away!

Jason as in Jason Todd. There's only been one major Jason in the Bat-mythos. Well...there may have been more but this one had the most memorable...um...exit.

One thing you implied but didn't mention The Guard, was the fact that Batman didn't need to hear the verdict! He knows the league so well, that he knew how each member would vote. (Flash, GL, and MM wanted him to stay - WW, Aquaman, Plastic Man, and Superman voted him out.) Read JLA #50 - Batman is pointing a finger at Superman: "You voted me out." Cool.

I saw it as more he knew how SUPERMAN would vote. Someone asked Superman if Batman knew how he would vote. The door opens, Batman is gone, and Superman says: "Yes."

Also, during that whole scene Kyle's ring is glowing. I'm pretty sure he was feeding Batman the conversation that was occuring.

Not only is Bats gone, but he took his chair with him. I thought that move was great, like he was saying "Screw you guys, I'm going home."

I saw the TPB at Media Play and at Barnes and Noble, it's out there! :) If you haven't read the storyline yet, then definately pick it up, it's excellent.
