No more Justice League on Mondays..

For whatever reason, Cartoon Network is removing the monday episodes of Samurai Jack and Justice League in February.

New episodes of Samurai Jack would then have to air on Fridays at 7 PM, before CCF. And new episodes of Justice League would air on Sundays at 7 PM.

And yes, they will air together on Saturdays, at 9:30-10:30 PM.

It's kind of eerie though, seeing them separated on the other days.. they're like yin and yang.. why take them apart?

Not sure if you were being rehtorical with that last question, but I think it all comes down to the fact that both shows are wildly popular, and by seperating the two, CN is hoping that they provide a shot in the arm of Fridays & Sundays....

I dunno what they're thinking though...*sigh*

Well, this is kinda-good 'cause I'm always super-busy on Mondays and have to do homework right before school so I can catch Jack and JL. But I always loved seeing the two shows back-to-back.

It's kinda cool, because now I dont have to miss wwf raw to watch jl on mondays, but then again, i always go out to dinner on sundays, o well, gotta get home earlier now :D

A ) Just ending or
B ) still going
Ticks me off.....may their ratings go down. (lol. yeah, like that's gunna happen! :D) I have no clue what I'm gunna do about this....

Show the new episode 3 times and repeat another two parter on two other days.

It's so much easier to remember to watch the both of them when they run back-to-back though. Man...I just hope they realize that this isn't a good idea and put things back eventually.

Damn CN for making me choose between JL and Futurama. Wait, FOx only shows Futurama approximately once every 3000 weeks, and it feels like there's a new JL about twice annually. Shouldn't be a conflict.

I'd prefer a Sunday viewing only so I don't have to worry about switching over to WWF Monday Night Raw either. Plus, I'd rather watch a two parter all at once instead of waiting a week for the conclusion.

Hola! If I remember correctly this new schedule also makes the widescreen JL episodes air on Saturday at 10 and no longer on Sundays at 8:30.

Howdy all,

Good thing about this change: Now I can watch Angel when JL isn't a repeat (Samurai Jack has been in reruns for a while, now).

Bad thing about this change: Now it's harder to remember when to set the VCR or turn on the tube. All things considered, though, this is a pretty miniscule problem to have (you could be in Guantanamo Bay or in Afghanistan, for instance).

Egh. I can certainly understand why CN would make such a move, but having to choose between JL and Futurama is intolerable, especially since Futurama has so few re-runs that aren't pre-empted by football.

Who cares what day they air them? Get a TIVO and you won't ever have to worry about missing them, and you can watch them together at 3 am if you want! :D

No-- I don't work for Tivo -- just own two of them.

The real reason I heard was that Jack was complaining that he could do better on his own, he is a very cranky character and he demands all sorts of things from the studio.

jl doesnt air on fridays now anymore.
