I mean, we've all knoticed how slow the Toonami world is moving, and when Jeff was gone, it was like we were that much closer to being cut off from that world, But don't you think it's time for things to start picking up again?
People said it was probubly slow so CN and Toonami could get their scheduals back together after the holidays, but we're far from the holidys...

I agree. Things have been going WAY too slow these past few months. Especially with all of the reruns they keep on showing.

Someone mentioned that Toonami usually announces its new shows in February.

That would have been Vincent, myself, and two others I can't remember at the moment.
Right now we can only guess and wait. Sure there are some series that seem very likely that we can speculate about. But I'd rather wait another two weeks or so and find out what's definite.

Personally, I'm hoping for a G Gundam announcement. It's probably too early for that, though. Maybe next year?

Well they are in the process of dubbing G right now. Wing premiered in March, MSG premiered late July, 08th late July, 0080 Nov. So far the majority of Gundam has started either during the spring or summer.
I'll be very, very suprised if G hasn't started airing by the end of August.

Toonami slow?? We've been getting special Toonami programming all week and Toonami finally gets its own marathon for the first time in awhile today!

Special Toonami programming??? Like what?
I'll give you the marathon, and i'm going to say sorry to all batman and superman fans out there before i say this but, who really wants to watch a toonami marathon of batman and superman? I mean really...
I'm talking special events, new shows, and some old shows that might come back, (like reboot! lol)

Yeah, I noticed Toonami's slowness, too.
And I DEFINATELY hope we DO see G Gundam soon! It's the one Gundam series I really want to see (that and both Turn-A and X, which intrigue me)
I dunno what I miss more, though-Toonami itself, or reading 'bout Toonami from Jeff's site? Ahh, well :) :( :)

Yeah, I was pretty annoyed when they were taken off of the scheduled 11:00 PM - 12:00 AM hour. I was really looking forward to it. Realistically though, I'd probably fall asleep halfway through the episodes because of the time.

Hey! Some people enjoy Batman and Superman because we haven't seen them in ages!

So how did a week of Toonami go with no DBZ in sight? It could be a gauge as to if the show can be pre-empted again for another marathon for another show that needs it.
Things are not slow for me, since I just got my cable back on Thursday. So I got to see Adult Swim for the first time since September, Justice League for the first time ever. I must say, I love seeing Wonder Woman animated and being able to kick Superman's butt :D . Can't wait to see how part two goes.
Right now I'm waiting for the week to start once again so I can check out Goku vs Vegeta as well as Dragonball's tournament episodes.

Ok, ok, I'm sorry i should have expected some nasty reactions from my last remark...to tell you the truth i ended up watching it too, (i'm a hypocrate)...and to tell you the truth i think batman should have won.
Again i'm sorry to all that were offended by my comment...

Hey Discloner, no ones mad at you. You're entitled to your own opinions and people should respect that. However, there are "Batman" and "Superman" fans here who did watch the marathon. No one's saying you have to like it or whatever.

I thought Wing premiered in September 2000, left for a bit after a couple runs in January 2001, then came back for a final run in March 2001 and ended on the hour cutback.

[indent]Nope, Wing started in March of 2000 with 3 afternoon runs and 2 uncut midnight runs. You are right about the final (so far) run though.
