Yep. There aren't a lot of us, though. Guess that's why they cancelled it.

I loved the series; I believe I was the only one making the talkback threads for the new season two episodes. Nobody really replied to those, unfortunately; I don’t even believe a single person replied to the talkback I made for the final episode of the series. I know a lot of people hated the series due to Mr. Whiskers’ antics, but I honestly believe Brandy Harrington was one of the better characters in an animated program in recent years. Sure, she appears to be cliché at first glance, but she had a lot of depth to her character and I believe she was portrayed in an excellent fashion.

I found this to be one of the better series Disney started in the last few years. The writing was very good and often inspired and usually had me in stitches. The recurring moments with still "snapshots" were the highlight of the show. The best one was in response to Brandy saying "Babies come in all sizes." Two standard "snapshots" of animal babies and their parent(s) were shown, followed by an absurd picture of a man sitting in a rocking chair with a HUGE baby on his knee. Probably the most lasting image and the funniest thing on the entire series.

Indeed, the snapshots were usually always entertaining. Unfortunately, they got rid of those in the second season, which is something I could never understand. The second season also made other changes, such as how they completely got rid of the plot with Brandy trying to get back home. They also had modern facilities spring up everywhere, such as animal-ran malls, theme parks, schools, concert halls and so forth.

The second season still had great writing and some very enjoyable episodes, but it was so much different from the first season in many ways, and as a fan, I felt somewhat alienated due to the changes.

It suffered from the fate of Teacher's Pet, who had some of the same staff. I t was just too abstract. These two shows were some of the most absurdist looking stuff in animation, it was basically modern art come to life. And I think that coupled with the slightly PG-rated humor at times kind of didn't click with the kiddies.

Question: speaking as a series finale fiend and Wikipedia editor: did the last episode resolve anything? Someone put it on Wikipedia's list of series finales (believe it or not, the only such list on the Internet), but by the brief description, it doesn't sound that conclusive.

I loved Brandy and Mr. Whiskers one of the only shows I still watch on Disney channel. I hope at some point they make a DVD featuring all the episodes.

I thought Brandy and Mr.Whiskers is a cute show. The absudness was a great enjoyment for me as I seem to enjoy those type of shows the most. My favorite was the random real life photos that would spring up.:D

It was a sort-of-quasi finale, but I wouldn't call it "conclusive."

*VERY MILD SPOILER WARNING*

In the second 11-minute segment, Brandy and Whiskers thought Whiskers had been poisoned and had a day to live. After all the usual shenanigans, there was a bit of tenderness at the end with both Brandy and Whiskers saying something about how they couldn't imagine anyone they'd rather be stuck forever in the jungle with than each other (I'm paraphrasing terribly, but you get the idea). And then *HERE'S THE MILD SPOILER* it turns out to be all a misunderstanding and Whiskers is fine.

So... not so much of a resolution (there could easily have been more episodes after this one), but a teensy bit of an emotional, "it's been a fun journey" wrap-up.
