For the third straight weekend in a row, Happy Feet was the number one movie earning an additional $17 million and extending it's total to now $121 million.

Meanwhile, Casino Royale stayed in the second place spot for the third straight weekend as well earning $15.1 million and pushing it's total over the $100 million mark with a $115.8 million total.

In third place is Deja Vu with $11 million and a $44 million total.

Opening in fourth place to pretty bad reviews (41% rating at RottenTomatoes (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/nativity_story/)) is The Nativity Story with $8 million. It opened in 3,183 theaters.

And rounding out the top 5 is Deck the Halls with $6.6 million and a $24.9 million total.

Also opening this weekend was Turistas which came in eighth place with $3.5 million in 1,570 theaters.

And opening as well was National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj in tenth place in 1,979 theaters and making $2.2 million.

Out of the top 12 this weekend is The Fountain (13th), The Queen (14th), and Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny (15th). Just a $7.4 million total in two weeks. BIIIIIG disappointment there I'm sure for Jack Black.

Opening next weekend are four new movies. First up is Blood Diamond (http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=10232) (rated R) starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Djimon Hounsou, Jennifer Connelly, James Purefoy, Arnold Vosloo, Stephen Collins, and Michael Sheen.

Next is Mel Gibson's newest film. Directed by him, but not starring he brings us Apocalypto (http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=12420) (rated R). Filmed entirely with the actors speaking the Mayan language and using English subtitles, it stars Rudy Youngblood, Dalia Hernandez, Jonathan Brewer, Morris Birdyellowhead, Carlos Emilio Baez, Ramirez Amilcar, Israel Contreras, Israel Rios, María Isabel Díaz, Espiridion Acosta Cache, and Iazua Larios.

Next is the kids flick Unaccompanied Minors (http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=13679) (rated PG) with Lewis Black, Wilmer Valderrama, Tyler James Williams, Dyllan Christopher, Gina Mantegna, Quinn Shephard, Brett Kelly, Rob Corddry, and Jessica Walter.

And finally we have The Holiday (http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=13033) (rated PG-13) starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black, Eli Wallach, Edward Burns, and Rufus Sewell.

Seeing Mike Rich, arguably the biggest hack to ever come out of Portland (really! see Radio!), get thrashed puts a smile on my face.

Awesome job for Bond once again. Glad to see it staying in its top place.

I'm beyond surprised to see Santa Clause 3 doing as well as it has. Yes, it's the season for it, but it's the season for it now. As early as it came out, I thought it'd be in and out of the theatre by now. Much less beating out two newer films and Borat this week.

Sad to see The Fountain has dropped so quickly so fast. It looked interesting and I was intrigued by the concept. On the other hand, glad to see Tenacious D tank. The less Jack Black is on the big screen the better.

I'm hoping the totals for Casino Royale will top Die Another Day (160 million) though that may not be possible. It will definitely surpass Brosnan's other 3 flicks though.

Funny how some of the most outlandish Bonds are also the biggest moneymakers.

1) Hades, quit sparking debates each week. No one cares if you think a movie is absolute crap. You don't need to say something like that in every thread. Take a break from it.

2) Religious debate = no. I don't want it here.

Keep this thread civil. Anymore discussion on the validity of the Bible will be deleted and warnings will be handed out.

Glad to see Happy Feet staying at the top. The fact that it's been at the top for three straight weeks shows that people are going not just to see the Harry Potter trailer, considering it's been out for awhile now.

I'm hoping to see Bond over Christmas break considering the good reviews.

Casino Royale currently has a $312.4 million worldwide total. Thanks in part to the European market, the U.K. and the U.S.

Die Another Day currently is the highest grossing worldwide Bond movie at $431 million.

The Clown PrinceIronically, the US is the only country Casino Royale is playing in at the moment where it isn't #1.

I'm thrilled that Happy Feet is doing so well in the theaters! It is such a cute movie for all ages. Seriously, the movie theater was packed more with adults than kids.

The new James Bond actor is just stunning as 007. He has so much charisma and personality that he draws you into his character. I was pleased with him being the new Bond. Movie was a tad long but it was worth seeing =)

I'd rather "animal with celebrity voice" films didn't make money, but considering the competition, or lack thereof, they didn't have a choice.

The people behind the Nativity Story are blaming the storms in the south for keeping people from seeing the movie and costing them box office dominance.
