Not like crazy people hear voices! As a longtime fan of both animation and old-time radio, I appreciate good voice acting. When I read comic books, particularly the Batman books, I hear Kevin Conroy's voice as Batman. I'm old enough to remember a lot of people as Batman, and Conroy's voice is my favorite.
Do you hear voices when you read comics? I'd like to hear your choices for voice actors for characters in this very visual medium. Don't worry about whether the actor is too old or out of shape. Think about the sound of their voice!

I do sometimes. Especially when I'm reading any of Greg Rucka's Batman work. Whenever I read his Batman, I hear Kevin Conroy's voice.

When I read comics, I hear the voices of characters from 80s cartoons. Superman is never as exciting as when heard speaking with the voice of Papa Smurf! :D

Sometimes, if the story is really good. I imagine voices for the characters in Watchmen, for example. Sometimes I imagine what music would go well with cetain scenes in comics, too.

Here's my list of people I hear for characters:
Superman: I almost always hear Bud Coyller as Supes. Coyller was the voice of Superman on the old radio show and the fleischer cartoons.
Batman: Conroy, who else?
Joker: Definitely Mark Hammill.
Wonder Woman: For some reason, I always hear Demi Moore as WW.
Green Arrow: Heh, I always hear my Dad's voice.
Spiderman: I always hear myself as Spidey. But after I see the movie, he'll probably sound like Tobey Maguire in my head.
