Besides CN and the Ink & Paint Club on Disney, are there any other nationwide stations that play classic cartoon shorts (Pink Panther, Woody Woodpecker, even any Terrytoons)? While I have a long way to go to get all the toons CN is playing, I'd like to branch out a bit...

Well, AMC occasionally shows a Fleischer Betty Boop or Color Classic as filler between movies. But you have to be lucky to catch one (they aren't announced in advance). That's about all. Walter Lantz and Terrytoons cartoons are currently absent from television. The Famous Studios (non-Popeye) cartoons were last seen a few years ago on FOX Family Channel's short-lived Harveytoons Show. Sad, isn't it?? :(

Yes it is,
I miss when I was a kid in the mid 80s to late 80s, all the UHF stations' weekday morning and afternoon cartoon blocks were nothing but this stuff, with a few Transformers or He-Man type shows thrown in for good measure...
*sigh* if only I had a vcr and the mind to collect them then...
