I dropped my nes GBASP from two feet and now the right half of the screen doesn't work/has lines, all this 4 months after my warranty expired...

what is the best way to repair it? Nintendos website is 55$ plus shipping which is way too much, i take care of my systems and have never had this happen, I also always beleived all those stories about Nintendo having great systems that endure a lot, yet my first accident and no screen :(

If it's costing $55 to repair, you might as well go for a DS or a DS lite. The fat DS should be less than $100 by now if you get it used, and the Lite...well, it's just so cute.

GBA Micros are only $40 if you still don't want to upgrade to a DS.

Yes, the SP is one of the weakest Nintendo systems. I say, take it apart, and convert it into an NES controller. (that's what I did with my old DS, only it's an SNES controller)
