Are we getting the Pre-Crisis Mongul or Post-Crisis and which version is better?

If they do the Pre-Crisis version, do you think they will do the storyline where Superman has to fight J'onn for the key to Warworld? And which version do you think is better?

I don't think that War World was even part of the Pre-Crisis. I thought that it was merely a Post-Crisis creation.

Warworld was pretty much the point of Mongul in pre-Crisis continuity. It featured in the DC Comics Presents trilogy teaming Superman with the Martian Manhunter, Supergirl, and the Spectre.

Mongul was impressive pre-Crisis because he was one of the few challenges to the god-like pre-Crisis Superman. Post-Crisis, Mongul has no point, being just another tough guy.

And the animated version of Superman hardly needs yet another character who can mop the floor with him.
