There was this episode where at the beginning sharon stone and princess diana were fighting over freakazoid and diana called sharon a tramp. To the best of my knowledge "tramp" means..."tramp".Is it a curse word or not? I know alot of women get really ticked off if you call them that (not from my experience).

The word Tramp has not been censored from public TV as far back as I can think. So I guess its no big deal. though when you think about the meanings for it-- there's only one thing she could be implying.

Yep and I'm sure that's the meaning intended-- but it actually means more things than whore.
for example, "Lady and the Tramp"

for example, "Lady and the Tramp"The tramp they were referring to was Lady's boyfriend (can't remember his name but he is the main guy). That type of tramp means a poor traveller depending on people like Charlie Chaplin's character. The tramp Diana mentioned was the nastier meaning.

Neither "whore" nor "tramp" is a censorable word. Though probably not entirely suitable for a children's program, they're nothing bad.

"Tramp" is the mildest way to say it, so it got through. So did "congratuate you perrrsonally in a very perrrrrsonal manner, if you...catch my drift," which I thought was more sexual than saying "tramp."
"Whore" is a little worse and wouldn't make it. I'm still trying to figure out how "sexual harrassment" did.

Kid's program? I saw a rerun on Cartoon network where it had a TV-G rating...so did animaniacs.

It was a children's show. It ran on Kids' WB for two years. Along with Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain, which are also children's shows. The rating of "TV-G" doesn't mean it's a family show. Ratings aren't meant to be taken completly literally, especially on Cartoon Network, where the standards are different. Look at Pokémon. It gets a "TV-Y7" rating on Cartoon Network, while on Kids' WB it got a "TV-Y".

Considering Spielberg's aim was to get parent to watch it with their children-- and the fact that the shows had such a huge adult audience-- I would say its for all ages yes.

thanks.Just a reminder you know that all kids shows aren't kids shows per se right? I'm sure you would know that using these shows as an example.
