View Full Version : Kyle Hebert snags a role in Bleach... (Spoilers)

...as Sousuke Aizen.

Forgive me if this has been reported before, but I skimmed Toon Zone and I saw no mention of this, so I'll post the news here. I found this out at his Livejournal here (http://http://gohanvox.livejournal.com/84577.html) (He has a Livejournal?! I'll need to look through it!) and thought this deserved to be reported .

Yeah, Kyle mentioned this at Naruto Fan, and said he'll be using a similar voice to Karasu for the role.

I'm looking forward to hearing it, and its nice Kyle got such a major role.

heck yeah, but man they are thinking WAAAAY down the line there... of course I know nothing of how far dubbers get their material and such...but man! like 20 episodes right? ...or wrong, probably that..

I'm dissapointed that the news was spilled and he said to me just the other day that he couldn't tell me which role it was.

I look forward to hearing this. I never would have pegged him for Aizen. Judging past performances, I am expecting a decent performance.

EDIT: Oops, Fixed Karasu ErrorThat's Ken-Goh version 2. Ken-Goh's original VA was Bob Papenbrook but he passed away in March :crying:, so Kyle stepped in to do the character

Good for him, it's a big role and I can't wait to see how he handles it.Well, it's not that big. He has a few lines before getting killed, then the few lines before he leaves, and it goes into filler. So it will be an important part eventually, but for the next probably 90 episodes it's relatively small.

He shows up pretty soon.

He helps Ichigo and his friends get into the Court of Pure Souls, and he and Ichigo travel together for a while.

Hanatarou is the one that meets up with Ichigo and Ganju once they get into the Court of Pure Souls.

Bleach's dub is doubling up voices too often already. It's going to be a mess when even more characters are introduced in season 2. Good for Kyle to get two fun very different and very worthwhile roles but I think his first Bleach role was enough honestly. Oh well... I like the guy and he's gotta pay the bill so good for him.
