If there was one episode of B:TAS/TNBA and one in S:TAS you could get rid of, which would it be?

For Batman, I'd have to say "Critters." Farmer Brown was just a terrible character...the whole episode as a whole was a let-down.

For Superman, I think it'd be "Superman's Pal." The animation wasn't that good, Metallo was portrayed as an idiot, and it just wasn't a very good storyline over all

You read my mind, Brainiac. Critters would be the episode I chuck out. Granted, as a farmer, there are a couple scenes that get a chuckle out of me - but overall leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

And Superman's Pal is just a tenny-tiny-molecule size step under Unity - two of the worst episodes every created. So those are the exact same episodes I would chuck out and burn to a smoldering heap.

Yeah, I don't think you're gonna be getting any different responses than those...

lol, the moment I saw the post topic I was like, for sure that farmer brown one. And everyone's already said that one! Well, it was just so god-awful...*shudders*...the freaky animals gave me nightmares. I can't even remember what Superman's Pal was about, which would make it uninteresting in my book, but Critters overall was one of the worst, if not the worst!

Yeah, which one of the writing team wrote Critters?

For TNBA, definitely "Critters" followed by "Sins of the Father"(aka hit a guy and watch him fly 20 feet across the room), "Cult of the Cat", and "Animal Acts".

For BTAS, "Christmas with the Joker", though "Cat Scratch Fever" and "Moon of the Wolf" are just about even with it. Xmas features the worst dialogue and line delivery in the series. Then there's the rubbery animation and crapped up perspective. Silly nonsense.

As for STAS, I'm not very familiar with it, but the first Myxsylplix(sp?) episode reminded me of a Tiny Toons episode in terms of the art style used in the dummies dimension. I suppose that was intentional, but I really hated it.

For B:TAS
That episode with the fake superheroes, one guy shooting ketchup or something like that. I can't believe they wasted an episode for that.

For TNBA
"Critters" definitely! Joe R. Lansdale is such a damn good writer, but that one and Superman's "Unity" did not do him justice. This is the man who created Jonah Hex btw.

For S:TAS
"Monkey Fun"! Again another episode wasted on a dumb idea. I would've paid out of my pocket for another World's Finest ep or another guest star. I think they should have had Brainiac and Metallo team-up in a two-parter. And to sacrifice another episode I would get rid of "Where There's Smoke".

For BB
The entire series instead of the Mr. Freeze episode, he should've killed everybody and ended the series.

"Animal Act" was mediocre but then there was that scene when batman goes to nightwing's loft and they stare each other down with neither one flinching. the tension finally stops when batman answers a "page" from robin and batman says with a disgruntle "What!" that remains one of the best scen of TNBA shows.

I haven't seen "Critters", I'm afraid, but my hatred of "The Last Laugh" knows no bounds.

I haven't seen "Critters" either. My two least favorites would have to be "The Underdwellers" and "The Forgotten". Both horrible episodes.

Yeah, even when the episodes were not that great(esp. in BTAS), there may be some small little thing that makes the episode worth viewing again, at least that part.

I actually like The Forgotten and The Underdwellers. I think the Sewer King and Foreman's voices are downright cartoonish/silly, but I like the themes/stories of those particular shows. I place them near the bottom of my average episode list.

From BTAS I'd say lose The Last Laugh. Two words: Captain Clown.

From STAS I have to say Heavy Metal (but just about all of the last season's efforts should have been canned). We had two great Metallo appearances (ending with Action Figures, which could have been a great ending for the character) then they added a stupid episode that had him with the exact same torn skin that he lost.

From TNBA I'll have to say Love is a Croc. Sure, Critters was bad, bad, bad; but at least it was kind of inspired. The hatchet job they did on Baby Doll and Croc, however, was unforgivable.
