Robin II

Okay, I know Robin I is Dick Grayson, currently Nightwing, former circus boy, etc. And I know that Robin III is Tim Drake. Who is Robin II? I keep hearing about him "Jason" something or rather, I was just curious, who is this guy, what's his story, etc.?

Robin II was Jason Todd. There are plenty of websites that'll do a better job than I'm about to do, and plenty of people here that could give a better answer as well. I'll give it a try...

Jason Todd was a kid that Batman once caught trying to steal the hubcups of the Batmobile. He was on his own on the streets, with no mother or father to speak of. Taking him in (just as he had with Dick Grayson), Batman began to train him as the new 'Robin'.

Jason did not adjust to his role as Robin well IIRC. He was pretty violent at times. Whereas Dick would always 'humanize' Batman a bit, Jason did not do that at all. He was always pretty rough on criminals to the extreme.

This whole big thing occurred, with the Joker becoming an UN ambassador from the middle-east, and somehow ...

Wait. I'm gonna mess this up. Hang on...

Thanks for the link. That was some cool info. I didn't know that stuff. They kinda blended Tim and Jason to come up with the TNBA Robin, huh? Interesting.
