I was watching Disappearing Inque when I noticed that the exo armor wore by Bruce is very close to the armor wore by Bruce in "Kingdom Come". So I started to think that Bruce Timm used some of the material from "Kingdom Come" in BB. What do you think?

Once again: Batman Beyond has absolutely nothing to do with Kingdom Come. They're completely seperate timelines.
As for the design of the suit, I haven't compared the two and I'm having trouble remembering what they both look like. But it could have been a cool hommage by the creators to KC.

In one Bruce Timm interview years back, we spoke on how he made the exo armor in homage to Alex Ross and Kingdom Come.
Beyond that, as Mad Hatter has stated, the link between the two pretty much ends there.

you know, i thought the same thing, as to the similarities of the two suits. my question is why'd they only use it once? why not have bruce use it again or put terry in it once....?
BTW, does anyone know where i could find a good still shot of the suit? i really want to draw it and can't find anything to go by...

bruce doesn't use it anymore because he is old and his heart can't take the strain it puts on it.
but i don't see a reason why terry can't use that suit.

It looked like it takes a lot of upper body strength to operate--hence Bruce's heart strain--that Terry might lack. Maybe when you're older, junior....

I think the Batsuit is better than that Exo suit. More features are on the batsuit. I think the Exo suit is just for strength.

They never really stated all the techno goodies the Exo suit had.
One: It was compact, meaing it seem that Bruce had it on his back before he deployed it. And how he got his helmet off at the end.
Two: The before brought up strength.
Three: The Gauntlet Blades
Um, that was the only thing we saw of it wasn't it . . . ?
Though I am sure it must have had all the features of the Batsuit, and knowing Bruce much more.
Hm, a Batsuit and Batmoble all in one . . . that would be cool.
What do you guys think it had . . .

I think the Exo-suit, as stated above, would be used mainly for strength alone. Plus, even though it's nice and compact, it looks very cumbersome and probably inhibits movement a great deal, not to mention a giant robot looking thing is hard to really miss. And let's face it, Bats is all about stealth and speed. Especially Terry, because he doesn't have the pure strength yet to take on people head on--for all the good it does him, he seems to charge in anyway, but I digress...
Sweet pic. I think I'm gonna go draw it now...
