I liked this show that had different segments. There was TigerSharks, Street Frogs, Karate Kat and something about kid monsters at camp but I forget the name. :p I have some TigerSharks figures around here somewhere.

Also Gummi Bears and Wuzzles, Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, Camp Candy, Muppet Babies.

No, seriously, Joe. It was "The Comic Strip." Infinite coolness. I can still hear that fershlugginer theme song bouncing about my skull.

C'mon take a trip down the Comic Strip!
(Repeat until you puke. Violently.)

And who can do hip-hop better than a frog can? STREET FROGS!

Bonus points to whoever can name those freakin' frogs. And Karate Kat's two female assistants!

Hmmm . . . for street frogs, I think the littlest one was Big Max, there was a Spider, Honey Love was the girl, Moose the Loose? and Doctor Slick. Karate Kat's two assistants were Meow-baby and Chow-baby (one of them had the hots for him; I can't remember which was which). I loved Comic Strip!

I also remember Tranzor Z, the Real and Fake (Filmation) Ghostbusters, Bionic Six, Robotech (though I hated it), G.I. Joe, Jem, My Little Pony and the Glow Worms, or whatever they were. The Popples, Cabbage Patch Kids, Captain N, Super Mario (with Lou Albano and Tommey Treehugger), Galaxy High, Kid Video and the PacMan cartoon, GoBots and Transformers, M.A.S.K. Smurfs, of course, and Wildfire.

There were a lot. The '80s were the golden age of cartoons!

Dungeons and Dragons!!!

Or anyone remember Ulysses 5000? Main hero who look like Jesus!

What else was there... Dragon Warrior, from the guy who brought us Dragon Ball Z and was never finished in America.

Also, for those of you who think you'll never see Wheeled Warriors or The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers ever again.... here's a place where you can get them ALL!!!!

Turbo Teen, Robotics, Visionaries, Captain N... only think I'm disappointed they don't have is Sonic SatAM and that's coming out on DVD anyway!

Happy hunting for your lost childhood!!!

Ah, Dungeons and Dragons. Brilliant cartoon the only thing against it was that it had no ending... did the kids ever get home? I doubt it..

Actually it was Ulysses 31 and yes he did look like a simplistic Jesus - interesting point of note that some of the incidental music sounds identical to some of John Williams score for Empire Strikes Back! I hope Mr Williams isn't an avid cartoon lover otherwise they'd be feeling the sharp end of a lawsuit (exaggerating, naturally).

And in contrast to D&D, it did have and ending!

Add to your list:

BATTLE OF THE PLANETS
Godzilla (hanna barbera version)
The Incredible Hulk (self mending trousers and reappearing shirt)
Spider Man And His Amazing Friends (Iceman! And Firestar!)
Dogtanian and the Three Muskerhounds (All for one and one for all!)
Count Duckula
Pole Position
Dangermouse (Naturally)

Not anime as such (puppets) but Star Fleet is worth a mention - anyone remember that?
