Well, my uncle's firehouse at least. Without going into this, as I have before, I lost my uncle, Matthew Rogan, a firefighter, on Sept. 11. His fire engine, damaged, had its door taken off (or boken off, I'm not sure) and used as a memorial at his fire station. Apparently, some jerk stole the door, which was a memorial as I mentioned (probably with pictures of the firefighters killed, people's letters, etc).

I learned from my mother that my uncle Gerry Rogan called "America's Most Wanted" along with my uncle Matthew's firefighter friend and "AMW" is doing a story on it apparently this week or next. They want to find the guy who stole it. That's all I know for sure. It's also aired on some local stations in NYC, including WNBC/4, apparently. I'm not really a fan of the "AMW," but I'm definitely going to watch it. I hope you guys too. Thanks!

He wasn't a loser, he just needed a fire-engine door, saw that this one was currently out of use, and said: "Hey, this is exactly what I need!"
J/K. Whoever did this has to be one pretty sick individual, and probably has some issues to work out with several prison psychologists in the near future. (Stupid issues...)

Yeah, sorry about your uncle. He sounds like a true hero.

What a piece of crap that guy that stole it must be. He'll get his sooner or later, I'd wager.

This "person", if you can call them that, whom stole that door is just sick. That's a terrible thing to do. I hope they do catch them and justice is well served...

I appreciate your kind words. He was my hero. I just thought it was pretty low for someone to steal the memorial like that. I mean, they died saving others and that's the gratitude they receive? Something is definitely wrong with some people today...

The story aired tonight in the last five minutes of "AMW." My uncle is pictured to the left. He is the young guy, who is clean shaven. Get make it out that well. The show aired at 9:00 PM EST, so people still have an opportunity to see it. Like I mentioned, it's at the end of the show. I appreciate you guys just watch it.

I'm not sure. If they did, however, I'll be sure to let you now. It was a pretty quick article which came on at the end. It was pretty nice though.
