The pre-orders for the animated Batman DVDs being released on April 23rd have been surprisingly strong, ranking very high at the Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/toonzone03) website. This is a good indicator that the public wants to see these animated Batman DVD, and that WB should go ahead with more DVDs and bigger DVD releases. Below is a rundown of their standing in Amazon's Sales Rank at the time of this writing:
Batman: The Animated Series - The Legend Begins - 198
The Batman/Superman Movie - 209
Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero - 277
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (Uncut) - 257
Justice League - 170
The uncut Return of the Joker DVD would likely rank higher if Amazon corrected it's listing, which does not presently refer to it as being the uncut version. Amazon customers are urged to click on the "Correct errors and omissions in this listing" link near the bottom of this page (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005Y71K/toonzone03) and ask that the DVD be titled "Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker - The Original, Uncut Version".
