OK guys, I have a question that I have been dying to tell you, shuold you think Neon Genesis Evanglion be shown on Adult Swim?

I'd like to see it on AS (seen it already on DVD but it wouldn't be bad for more people to see it) but:
- reportedly Gainax won't let it be edited at all (others have mentioned this but I've never seen it in print/web site)
- the psuedo-Christian references might have some censors head spinning (even though it's been stated that the references are only using the names from Christian dogma not the concepts)
- I don't think we've seen any ADV licensed properties on CN yet - I pray that changes soon though
- the ending of the TV series makes people think too much :)

There's barbie doll nudity when we see the Rei clones near the end. That scene alone will keep it off the air since CN refuses to even show lame barbie doll nudity. :p

Regardless, people will go NUTZ when they see the ending. Especially the younger crowd that CN attracts (especially with this new block on Saturday nights that targetted towards 7 year olds outside of one half hour). I don't think CN would take a change with the ending being so bad/screwed up/controversial.
