I'm having a psychological problem...

I go to bed every night, fall asleep real quick, then wake up the next morning, same times as usual, but I'm even more tired than usual. Today, I realized I was blaming it on insomnia..even though I know I feel asleep...

so...there must be only one other alternative. Ever see Fight Club?
I think my alter-ego/subconscious is breaking loose, and he might be doing stuff...I don't know what stuff..but..It might just be me. Hmm...we'll see. If you discover a Fight Club has opened up in a town near you...then stop me..oh, BTW....I don't want to be castrated....AHH!!!!!!!

Haha...but no, really..the sleeping problem is actually happening. I go to bed, but wake up exhausted. It feels like something is draining my energy. I can't stay awake during classes, and my drowsey-ness is conflicting with my relationship(she thinks I'm acting weird, I think she's acting weird, then I pause & stare at her, & she busts out laughing, then I get really offended, even though I'm not offended, and it just goes downhill from there.). Anyone familiar with sleeping dissorders? Hmm...

I have a friend of a friend that actually went to one of those sleep disorder clinics. They showed that he was waking up several times every hour. He had the same symptoms you're talking about. Unfortunately, I can't remember what the solution was.

Wow, I wake up really tired too- oh, wait, it's cause I don't go to bed at a decent hour and I have to get up so early. Instead, I spend way too much time on here, if that's even possible ;) I admit it- I'm a Toonzone junkie.... :p

Yeah, I knew a guy who always felt sleepy during his classes and they found out that he suffered from sleep apnea, which is when you stop breathing during your sleep and wind up disturbing your sleep. If you do this a lot it really decreases the amount of sleep that you get. It has to do with some biological obstruction of the throat and can be dealt with by either an operation or an apparatus that is worn during sleep. I think that my friend got to go with the apparatus. I remember that his problem was solved after that. Hopefully you don't have any problem at all, but if this is it then I don't think that treatment would be too big a deal. It sounds like this problem has been around for a while, so maybe you should mention it to your doctor, since he can probably best figure out exactly what is going on. Anyways, good luck and I hope you feel better. :)

See, the thing is, I never wake up during my sleep...anymore. I use to all the time, but lately I've been sleeping like a baby..

Ultimately, I think I just had a lot of crap to worry about. Last night, basically, I pissed off my girlfriend a load...and so, I figured she'll break up with me today(haven't seen her yet, she'll probably call ro e-mail in an hour, when she gets home), and so I figured "screw it". I'm not worried about anything anymore...grades, her, nothing. No more worries...and I had such a great sleep last night. I actually feel pretty refreshed today. Which is good, because I have a movie to work on in the upcoming weeks. hehe.."student film"..not a real movie(duh..haha)
