"Recipe Week"? Well, why not?

The real reason for this is that I planned to do something related to "Gummi Bears" when their DVD came out, to remind people that it was out. I don't want Disney's other shows to befall the same fate as Gargoyles, just because they released them at a stupid time and didn't promote them at all. I'd like to see less instances where they look at those results, shrug and say "I guess nobody wants any more of them, oh well, we tried." If you're going to release a series, Disney, STICK TO IT.

The truth is, I didn't watch Gummi Bears as a kid, because they were bears. I was at an age where I didn't want anything to do with a cartoon that had bears in it, because chances were good it'd be a cutesy, embarrassing preschool thing I'd never want to get caught watching. Only after I grew up did I see some of the show, but nowhere near all of it.

I'd say now, "Buy the Gummi Bears DVD," but it'd make me a hypocrite. My reasons for not buying it right now are the same as Igthorn's (plus, the Wii). November is just a stupid, stupid month to release a product of lesser interest.

And speaking of the Wii, next week's feature will be the "Twilight Princess Diaries," updated daily with new Zelda tales! This is my solution to what exactly I'm going to do to keep the site updated while the new Wii consumes all my time. Look forward to that, unless you're trying to avoid spoilers.

Actually, only the bears got the ability to bounce. When everybody else drank gummi berry juice they gained super strength, which probably would benefit igthorne.

But I agree on disney not giving enough attention to their TV animation sets. None of the newspaper ads even bothered mentioning them(but at least they reminded us that "Lois and Clark" season 4 comes out this week:rolleyes:). I guess I can just kiss my chances of owning the complete "Raw Toonage" goodbye.

Well, that's embarrassing....someone just sent in a link from Snopes proving the Neiman-Marcus recipe story is a complete fake. Apparently Neiman-Marcus hasn't even SOLD cookies until recently. I had to correct this a bit.
