Another sweet episode. Ah-Mah looks hot when was June's age. And it was really funny at the credits(Yes they showed the credits this time!) when Rodger was trying to see "Roxi" again. Nice June & Ah-Mah interaction we have here. Even though Ah-Mah really wanted to be an archelogist, like June she couldn't leave Orchid bay to do so but she accepted her fate. And we finally get to see the magic elders(Well sorta... ) and it's interesting that the Tu Xaun Ze's powers were given by the magical elders themselves. I love the part when Ah-Mah made the rant about being Chinese and knowing about karate & ninjas.

Yeah Ah-ma is hot, but then you have to think: she's supposed to be 11.
It seems like animators always make characters look five years older than they say they are.

I intend to make a more in depth post to this thread, as the episode deserves it, but I will admit to thinking the first age regression version of Jasmine was hot (the one that was in her 30s or 40s). The 11 year old ... definitely not. But you make an interesting point. I just wish I could find more than one fanartist who draws good June without feeling the need to making it appear she's already gone through puberty. Disconcerting describes the feeling I get, but it's not nearly strong enough.
Roger's infatuation, OTH, was awesomely hilarious and appropriate. I'm surprised we didn't get more of a response to that from Ophelia. Could she really, actually, not like him? Or was she just playing dumb? :P

Given their figures,,, I'd say 11 tops. ;)
I like how they're giving June more varity in outfits, the rockclimbing gear was cute. And she, and in this show little Jasmin look cute in ponytails. hmm, fanart? I haven't been looking, guess it's time for a seach :D My images are really short for this show.
Monroe's usual sunny humour,,,"want sunshine? Try the beach" is always a winner with me. "I know, it's the long staff" :anime:
Jody as the "ugly American" was cute, though it caught me off guard. Jasmine has a chip about it too. :anime: I'm chinese and yes I do know karate, and 26 others. :p Reminded my of Yumi's "No, I'm Japanese" lately. Roger hitting on Ah-Mah was cute. Man, they carry some heavey book bags.
And Ray-Ray to the rescue again was nice. Somehow I just don't see him taking responsibility for money. Even if he didn't clean Junes room well. :anime:
I'm a little surprised the Elders have a new place. Guess they moved after that other guy's attack. Cheat, we didn't get to see Kandrakar, or where ever. And the turtle had me a bit confused at the end
Very nice show, their stories are getting stronger IMO

I've been watching Juniper Lee the last couple of weeks, and I gotta admit this. The stories are indeed getting better...
First you have Dennis last week knowing of June's Little Secret, and this week? You got Ah-man (Jasmine) living her past..
Personally I think this shows now "Hitting its stride" and is really starting to Ramp up the story level quite a bit..(I figure it's going to be a matter of time before we see someone like Orpheilla or Roger learn about June's Powers..)
but as for this week, I have to say for her life? Jasmine Lee definitely was perhaps one of the best Te Xuan Ze's in the Business, and having this story explain some of it was a good idea..
But then you have the funny moments as well.. Monroe's line about "Want Sunshine? Go to a Beach!" was funny, and Ray Ray, is also hitting his stride with a nice mix of Comedy and sidekick support (hey at least Ray Ray is getting a bigger part now..)
but let's face it, now that the show's settiing it's pace, I think that they'll need to look at some upcoming issues..(what they are we'll not know..(Hmm and I can smell a sense here that we could be seeing sometimes soon more of that June/Marcus Shipping..(I just have this feeling that before Season 3 (or 4) is out, June's going to tell Marcus. what this will result in? Hard to say.
But definitely this ep was a solid 9 out of 10 in this watcher's book, I just wonder what they'll have come two weeks from now (just in time for Thanksgiving... Maybe:
an attack by a 50 Foot Turkey perhaps? ...

I really liked this episode.
The weirdness of Ray-Ray hitting on his aged-down grandma aside... I just love Ah-Mah in this episode. We got to learn what her original dream in life was (becoming an archaeologist). We see how sad she really felt, having to spend an extra 30 years as the Te Xuan Ze because the powers, for some reason we still don't know why, skipped a generation. And the reaction of June's classmates to Ah-Mah... eh, Roxanne, were great! Busting down Asian stereotypes! Yes, non-Asians... we all aren't from the same country, we all don't know karate, and certainly none of us know any ninjas! (Not any real ones, anyway. :p)
On the other side, you at first have June happy of the age regression for the sole purpose that maybe Ah-Mah can retake the mantle of Te Xuan Ze so June can leave Orchid Bay and can pursue her dream of being an astronaut. But that attitude quickly changed when Ah-Mah dropped the 'extra 30 years' bombshell. That's important, because she knows how hard her grandma has had it, and she should be thankful that the generation skip is a one-time event... meaning she'll still have time for a life when she passes the mantle to one of her kids.
(That's still detrimental to her astronaut dream, though... that's one of those careers you have to start before your mid-to-late 30s, I think.)
"Little Big Mah": 8/10.

I really did enjoy the episode myself, RayRay was a hoot and I really can't wait for the up coming episode. I know its about RayRay saving the world this time, so yes :D
Any ways I did love learning about Ah-Mah past and seeing her fight again I also loved the interaction between RayRay and Ah-Mah, it was cute. Seriously this show is getting so much better.
