As Joe Tully mantioned that on Sept.2 CARTOON NETWORK will launch a three hour block of cartoons for adults.CN President BETTY COHEN said that they were creating new cartoons for their adult audience.
Now my question is what (YOU THE ADULT VIEWER) do you really want to see in this new programing.
What about "All of the above?"
Some people would want to watch it for the new stuff, some for the TV stuff, and others for the un-PC stuff, and some (like me) would like it all (I like Space Ghost Coast To Coast.)

You when it's bad enough when we have that "Garbage Grabage" crap on all the time, and Betty Cohen want's to give us (the adults) some new toons to satisfy us cartoon fans.Personally, I think that Aol/Time Warner & Cartoon Network still owes us "BIG TIME" on the "June Bugs" fiasco, and the only way that Mrs. Cohen can give the fans what they truly to see.
Maybe one new program will fit the bill but why not have a "Special" Toon Heads showfor the adults featuring all of the PIC cartoons that don't get any air play, and I can bet that those cartoons would give CN "HUGE" (and I do mean "HUGE") ratings.
I never said NOT to show un-PC classics, and I never said to show Cartoon Cartoons. Gee, you sound like I want the cartoons to be burned or something, never to be seen again. What's wrong with a nice mix?

I think it's past due. Consider me the oddball who's thrilled to see Coast 2 Coast finally producing new episodes instead of being pushed farther and farther aside, inches away from being cancelled. The Williams Street programs are made and produced from a completely different team than the Cartoon Cartoons, and I consider most of their stuff, C2C in particular, to be some of the most refreshing, while still unapologetically bizarre, cartoons produced in years. It's not for everyone, hence the late-night slot.
Now, do I think another three hour block of rare classic cartoons deserves to be shown late nights? Absolutely. I'm crossing my fingers for some great classic stuff to be included, but I consider myself quite happy with the new "garbage".

I think the fact that Cartoon Network is even branching out and experimenting with "adult"- themed programming should be applauded. While I doubt I'll care very much for those new series, if they someday lead to possible rare, uncut cartoon shows for adults... I'm all for it.
