Slight delay in the issue means a piece of promo art this week followed by the final cover and first page next week! Enjoy!

Gravity has now started! Cover linework by "Frozen" and colored by myself, with colors for the story by Kris Trigwell ("Reverend").

New part next week!

Slight delay in the colours. Shouldn't take too long. Waiting to hear back from Kris, though he was half done early in the week. Expect the next part ASAP.

The delay should be rectified this weekend. Should have a strip up around then.

The delays to this strip have been technical. The guest colorist has had computer failure which has taken some time to rectify. We aim to get the issue up later this week. In the meantime, we've added some design concepts to the issue for your curiousity!

Read all the the stripped bare issues. So far I am a bit confused with a couple stories. The moon one... I was totally lost ...All I got from it was dark, noirish deep stuff going on in the story. I love the art and the writing keeps me coming back for more even if it is a bit confusing on what you brit folks are tying to say :p

Part two of this story is now up. Sorry for the delay.

Kylewayne: Don't know what to say really :) - certainly can't explain Shoot the Moon in the Gravity thread. When I got Paul's script, I understood it, so even if the art is causing a problem, the narrative itself certainly has all the elements there you'd need to understand the story. I mean, I read it and I had no pictures to help! ;)

Any questions about that story, throw up in the Shoot the Moon thread and I'm sure I - through the interlinked mind I have with Mr Mathews can answer any questions you have.

But I guess what has to be said is these are VERY compact stories in both visuals and narrative. With one a week (in theory - again, sorry for the LOONG delay, in fairness, our only delay so far!), we try to make sure each strip isn't just a single part of a story, but stimulation within itself, so each panel is packed, and the narrative is colourful rather than obvious. In theory again, you have a week to figure each page out and then pull it together at the end of the story.

Hopefully I'm not too close in saying this, but I think all the information is there. The stories are fairly straightforward - so maybe you're looking for more than is there - afterall, they are only 5 pages, and that's not much space to be particularly complex. We hope that they are however, "colourful" in texture, language and style. We certainly don't pamper the reader, but as I said, if they are read thoroughly, the reader should - hopefully - pick up all that's needed!

Part three will be released on Christmas Day! Due to workload, Kris is unable to finish the colouring for this story, so I'll fill in for the final three parts.

The next part is coloured and ready to go up on the day of Christmas itself.

That's great news, Jimmy--can't wait!

As for Paul's scripts, well... Having worked closely with Paul for all of my working life, I never had any problems understanding his scripts. But, then again, I know how his mind works! ;)

Merry Christmas!

Part three now online! (http://strippedbare.cartoonsdammit.com/index.php?issue=3)

Slight change in colouring as I'm finishing the story - so the effects and colour style may alter a little. Then again, this part moves the story on geographically, so maybe in that respect, it's good timing to have a slight shift in atmosphere!

Part four first week of Jan (probably on the Friday)!

Part four now online! (http://strippedbare.cartoonsdammit.com/index.php?issue=3)

The final part of this tale will be end of next week. Stripped Bare will take a slight break as I get up to speed battling the project with freelance work and will be back once again with an entirely different tale in - most likely - early February!

Part FIVE now online! (http://strippedbare.cartoonsdammit.com/index.php?issue=3)

This is the FINAL part of Gravity. The next planned story is Personal Jesus, which will be a black and white tale of seven parts again written by Paul L Mathews.

We'll be doing publishing some design concept for Gravity before then and probably a website redesign.

Additional behind the scenes image of one of the secondary robots now online!

I'll be adding a selection of ink only images to the comic in weekly installments from next week.
