This is the talkback thread for Seinfeld on "Bee Movie" Trailer (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=13345).

I first saw this when he appeared on The Daily Show. Funny stuff. What are the odds that the actual film be out-funny the live action trailer(s).

I've watched the trailer a bunch of times already. Jerry's roll down the windshield, accompanied by, "Ahhhh!! Mother--!" cracks me up. With him involved, I imagine the film will be pretty funny. He's my favorite comedian. My brother and I are already wanting to see it. November '07 is gonna seem to take forever to get here.

It *is* a fairly amusing to see Jerry in that big fat bee costume. :)

Now let's hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those pictures where, if you've seen the trailer, you've seen the best parts.

I saw the trailer attached to Flushed Away yesterday and I must say, I died laughing. It was very clever and hilarious.

It'll probabaly confuse people until they see elements of the actual CG film. I had gotten to see some production images this past summer so I got the joke, but some people in the theater yesterday were going "Man thats going to be funny!" like the trailer was portraying the actual film.

I mentioned in the other BEE MOVIE thread, I was kind of worried about the same thing, that people would think that's what the actual movie is going to look like. (At least, those who aren't familiar with Seinfeld's way of handling trailers; check out COMEDIAN's for another example of that). Still, I'm sure actual teasers and trailers for the finished film will show up eventually, far enough to advance that people will know for sure what the movie looks like.

But I've watched this first one so many times now. It just cracks me up, and I'm glad to see Seinfeld is finally doing a feature film, albeit an animated one. He always said he was very leery about doing a movie whenever he was asked about the potential for film projects, so I guess he's changed his mine. Perhaps he'll do more if this is a hit. :)

Oh man, that trailer's awesome. Seeing all those real actors try to act like bugs hitting a windshield with all the deliberately bad special effects... it was genius. The goofy orchestral music only enhanced it. If the actual CG movie is as funny as this teaser, this could be good.

It was great. It was a lot better than many generic trailers and it acted as an anti-trailer, which is good.
