Why haven't they made trade paperbacks, featuring Knightquest and the othe no man's land stories?

They have.

There are three Knightfall/Knightsend/Knightquest trades, and 5 NML trades (not including the trade that just has "No Law and a New Order", because that arc is contained in NML vol. 1) Also, all of Cataclysm was collected into a massive trade, with a trade dress similar to the NML trades. However, "The Road to NML" was not collected to my knowledge.

I never saw Knightquest on amazon, or B&N.

I know I've seen KnightQuest somewhere in TPB. Or was that KnightSend? KnightFall? KnightBack? KnightSearch? Who even knows anymore.

Aftershock is not in TPB form, and from what I gather, actually has very little to do with anything. Haven't read it, but I've heard people say it was a little much. I mean, from Cataclysm through NML, Batman had, what? FOUR different banners? "Yes, well, you see, FIRST came the quake, 'kay? Then there were other LITTLE quakes, only they weren't really quakes but really Scarface's new evil plot, and we all know that needs its own crossover! And then, see, we had to take the road to NML! And then we actually GOT to NML, okay?" Yeah, okay, cool, whatever.

Even if ya did, DC has this habit of not listening to the fans, especially when it comes to things like that. It's always worth a shot, though!

If you want the full story you have to like get all of the issues because like they always cut stuff out in the trades.

Once again Austin...there's a novel verison called KNIGHTFALL by Denny O'Neil. Just as good as most of the stories, and it really streamlines the whole KNIGHTFALL, KNIGHTQUEST, KNIGHTSEND...local library probably has it.

Don't try to get all the issues. You'll find yourself shelling out a couple hundred dollars for those arcs. Grab the books, acquire a basic knowledge of Batman lore, and keep up on current Batman issues.

I know they would be expensive. which is way I'm not going to do it.

It's a novelized version of the entire Knightfall/end/quest arc, not the trades that were released. I know the novel was written by Denny o'Neil, but never read it. I wonder if it's any good. I've read the back cover before, and it says so much, but it doesn't say if it's any good.

the best way to get the Knightfall and NML story line read, is to get the novels. They are the whole story, and you don't have to worry about a issue being left out...

I know where to get a no mans land novel at amazon. I didn't get it because I afriad it didn't follow the comic storyline.

I actually bought just bought the Knightfall TPB's and then found all of Knightquest/end for less than a buck each at the comic shop...but I'd say to stick with the trades of NML.

I've read the novels, (both NML & Knightfall) and both are excellent. =D NML is opened & closed by Barbara & it's very moving...I highly recomend them, but especcially NML
