it contains MS 1-6 and X, however you can turn the infinate lives thing off and give a set number of lives
the one part that miffs me about this compilation is that it's 40 bucks instead of 20 or even 30, it comes out next week. I mean 40 bucks for 7 older games seems abit pricey
Hopefully bestbuy will have it cheaper
It's coming out for the PSP, PS2, and Wii, allthough considering hat it really doesn't take advantage of any of the systems capibilities in either case, it's not really going to matter what version you get. Being that the graphic resolution is the same in all cases, you just are going to have to pick one since it's the same games on all three systems.

$40 isn't all that bad for this, IMO.
They aren't all older games, either. Metal Slug 5 is only a couple years old, and I believe Metal Slug 6 is barely one year old. Yes, they're much shorter than your average game, but ultimately all 7 of them togethor is probably as long if not longer than your typical new $50 game, and not all of them are all that old, so all things considered I'd say $40 is actually quite cheap.

40$ is perfect for it, considering that it's coming with a Brand new Metal Slug game, MS6. It takes the fun out if you play with infinite lives though, Metal Slug 4&5 were both like that.

I'll probably pick this up alongside my Wii. I love me some Metal Slug and having 7 of them on one disc is worth my $40.

6 is $65 alone in Japan, so getting it with the others for $40 is a steal.

Meh I guess, they are short games though
I'm wondering if they'll have extras like art galleries and sprite galleries, that would seal the 40 dollar price tag for me

I believe the Wii version actually has optional motion-based controls included. Could suck, could be interesting.

I don';t think the control styles are going to make that much of a difference, especialy considering the series hasn't really changed from MS1 in terms of gameplay(aside from the 3D installation)
I'm personally looking forward to shooting things enmass with infinate lives turned on, a marathon session from 1-6 barreling right through

It has like 6 styles... At the end of the day, Slug uses 3 buttons and a D-Pad, so whatever works I guess.

Hey, $40 is alright with me. I bought the Metal Slug 4/5 compilation for X-Box for $40, and it paid for itself in quarters I would have spent on continues the very first night.

Yeah, who knows if it will actually matter... I'm just saying that there is something a little extra in the Wii version.
