Kirby coming to America?

My first reaction after seeing this was a double-take, an inaudible gasp, and then a frenzied rush to tell everyone I knew about it. Still, when did 4Kids get rights to ALL Nintendo franchises? Do you think they'll be able to pull off a decent series with their new in-house crew? Can we trust them with such power?

I've been daydreaming since seeing that article, and thought that maybe this is to the Nintendo Universe what BTAS was to the DC Universe. First Kirby, then Mario, then maybe a JL-style Smash Brothers series! Well, here's to hoping (or dreaming anyway)!

My boyfriend mentioned the Kirby anime to me a while back (and woudn't leave me alone with making me go 'aawww' whenever he sang the Kirby victory song :o :rolleyes: :p )

The show's pretty recent, from what I heard, and to see it on US shores sooner than I ever thought...? Whoa. Now all I need is for the Megaman. EXE anime to pop out here an' I'm set!

As for other Nintendo franchise I think deserve an animated series?

Two words: Star. Fox. It'd be like the anime equivalent of SWAT Kats, only with twice the dogfights (Foxfights, hawkfights, frogfights, bunnyfights...?!) Being a furry fan can get awkward sometimes :p :p :p

Hmm, I guess that could be pretty cool. I think they should make a series based on the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, myself.

An anime styled Star Fox would be another good one as well.

There's Megaman.exe anime out there? Dang... I've been waiting for a decent Megaman cartoon for a long time. His portrayal in Captain N and that cringe-worthy American series just didn't cut it for me.
