I went to the comic store today and experienced something that I haven't experienced in a very long time: A week with no new comics.
What's the story with Marvel? For the most part I only saw a shelf full of those new manga versions. No offense to any manga fans out there, but I collect enough comics already, and have no desire to add any more to my monthly pile. Aside from the manga stuff, there were precious few "regular" titles.
Did Marvel do this on purpose? Perhaps to give readers more inclination to pick up one of these new titles? There was a time when I might have picked them up simply to have some comics for this week, but I've gotten to the point where I can survive one week without a new comic to read. I have learned to control my comic addiction...it no longer controls me. :p
Anyway, I hope Marvel has some good stuff coming out next week. By then I'll need my "fix" pretty bad
*must have comics....twitch twitch....need new mags....twitch shudder*
