Dunno, wasn't up 'till 6:30AM. I know that my local cable company runs weekly tests on CN. The only classic cartoons I know of that got interrupted were 5 seconds of "The Tom & Jerry Cartoon Kit" (the part where Tom's eyebrows knit a sweater), the ending of "Porky the Giant Killer", and the first two minute or so of "Who's Kitten Who?" (the network went back to normal as Hippety crashed in Sylvester's basement).

I wouldn't know, the farthest I got this morning was "Hop Look and Listen", because there's always someone in my family up before I am that just HAS to watch the local news...and we have a cable-box setup so the timer records only the channel being watched. So, I usually get the part up to 6:30 central time, then I get the local news....well, at least 30 minutes of it, half of that is ads for local truck dealerships. Lately I've been taping all the reruns, I'm not home at the original airtime.

Not really. I have all of the cartoons they usually run, but I tape the show to get better copies, I have some that I've moved from tape to tape and some that were taped at different speeds, and just need to be relpaced. I've gotten lots of good replacements this week.
