We now have our answer of who's in the running for Best Animated Feature:

The Ant Bully (Warner Brothers)
Arthur and the Invisibles (Weinstein Co/MGM)
Barnyard (Paramount)
Cars (Disney/Pixar)
Curious George (Universal)
Everyone's Hero (20th Century Fox)
Flushed Away (DreamWorks Animation)
Happy Feet (Warner Brothers)
Ice Age: The Meltdown (20th Century Fox)
Monster House (Sony Pictures)
Open Season (Sony Pictures)
Over the Hedge (DreamWorks Animation)
Paprika (Sony Pictures)
Renaissance (Miramax Films)
A Scanner Darkly (Warner Independent Pictures)
The Wild (Disney)

I have no idea of what Paprika is, and I had no idea that Arthur and the Invisibles was eligible. So further predictions?

I'll bet dollars to dandruff that 'Cars' and 'Flushed Away' will be nominees.

'Ice Age 2', 'Monster House' and 'Happy Feet' may get the nod, too.

Paprika is the yet-to-be-released-stateside anime film, the latest from director Satoshi Kon.

Now what's Arthur and the Invisibles?

It had me at 'directed by Luc Besson'.

I'm thankful the studios churned out so many features this year, because in any other year with only 3 nominations films like these would never have a hope of being nominated.
