I need help

I want to put an image in my sig but none of the codes are working and for some reason I can't turn on my [IMG] code. Why's that?

Images in signatures are not allowed. They take up too much bandwith.

.... and they look ugly and slow up the boards for those with older computers or slower connections.

And no offense, but no one cares about what you want to promote and I'm sure no one would care what I want to promote, so in the end, they're pointless. Who wants "Cloud Strife 4 Tifa Lockhart Club - CLICK HERZ!" or "X-FILES FANZ FORUM" or "GET THIS - SOAD RULZ!" or "Check my WORK out!" (we already are in your banner, so that sort of defeats the point, yes?) or "James for President - Click here or be first against the wall when the revolution comes."

Honestly, pro banner people - go scrawl on a wall - that's what god made graffitti for, which in essense is what image sigs are.

You have a nice piccy avatar, be grateful! Avatars can tell a million banner stories (well close to a million - one actually) as well as being small on load time. Plus you have sig space for a small quote and/or links anyhow, so surely we can all be happy! Rejoice! Be Happy! James for President! Horrah!
