Well, I'm a proud to be bookworm. i read all sorts of books from history to fantasy, from Ray Bradbury, to Shakespeare to Jane Austin, to J.R.R.Tolkien. So, does anyone else read much? Is your nose always in a book? Or are you the type of person who reads only what is required in school? Or, do you not even read the required books for school, but instead look up the cliff notes or such up on the net?

I really love to read, but i rarely get to aside from what is assigned at school. And most of those are really bad.

I read whenever I get a chance! Especially around the holidays, 'cause pretty much the only things I ever ask for from my aunts and uncles are books. I always own a book I haven't read, in preperation of when I finish the current book.

I read only when I have to for school. Reading is boring and annoying. Why waste my free time reading? Also, what are cliff notes?

I'm reading constantly. Right now I'm reading The Return of the King (Book 3 of LOTR) and Batman:No Mans by Greg Rucka... :)

I read to my little sister every night.... We've gone through all 4 Potter books, about 2/3 through the Hobbit...

On my own, it depends.... Vacations, I read like crazy (LOTR in less than a week) and in my usual quick way.

I love to read so I try to as often as I can. I usually read non-fiction books, such as books about history and archaeology, although I have picked up a few fiction books lately. I've read "The Hobbit" and I'm working on LOTR. What can I say? It reminds me of my mythology-obsession days!!

I almost picked up No Mans Land the other day. Is it any good?

I always have a book that I'm reading. Right now I'm rereading Fellowship of the Ring. Before that it was "River of Time," a collection of short stories by David Brin. When I'm done I'll either start on "Caves of Steel" by Asimov, or Clive Barker's latest.

Some of my favorites are Asimov, Brin, Frank Herbert, Carl Hiassen, Neil Stephenson, Larry McMurtry, Timothy Zahn, I'll stop there.

I have a subscription to Asimov's, but I think I'm not gonna renew so I can have time to read more novels.

I also have the guilty pleasure of reading Maxim and Stuff monthly.

I like to read if what I'm reader is enjoyable to some extent (goes hand in hand...). I wouldn't call it a hobby of mine. I wish I can call myself a bookworm. That only held true for one summer when I moved into a new apartment by my college campus and my roommates and I had no TV. Amazing what no TV can do to me, made me read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

so far it's great. I'm only about a hundred or so pages into it, but I can already tell I'm gonna love it...

Cool, I'm gonna get to go to the bookstore today. I think I'm gonna get that one and a Star Trek graphic novel by my boy David Brin.

I love reading! :p Mostly it's fiction, but I do read some non-fiction on occasion. Most recent books I finished reading were Marion Zimmer Bradley's "Priestess of Avalon" and "Witch Hill." Next, I'll be starting Maggie Shayne's "Gingerbread Man."

A good percenage of my library is Stephen King...I usually spend a lot of time holed up in my room "like a kermit" (in the words of one Quinn Morgendorffer) with one of his novels...plus I have a passion for the classics, esp. Dante and Shakespeare....

I've always got a book or two going, and I spent copious amounts of time reading fanfiction too.

Fanfiction takes up a good amount of my internet time. Some days that's all I'll do online.
