I wonder who voted for Wing. Gundam Wing is among the WORST Gundam series made, simply because of the way it's all presented. There are 5 invincible Gundams who do nothing but destroy big armies of mobile suits and talk about how great war is.

MSG is the best. Actually, I was considering choosing other, for Gundam X or Z Gundam or something else, but I think Mobile Suit Gundam, starting it all, was the best I've seen.

I voted 08th MS Team because I've only seen this and Gundam 0080 and I like the former better.

Side Note:
I wanted to watch Mobile Suit Gundam, but I have this problem where I must watch the show from the beginnng to watch the whole series. I had the opportunity to watch MSG starting on episode 5, (I couldn't watch it before because I didn't have cable), but I declined and decided to wait for the second run because Toonami ALWAYS has a second consecutive run for a new series. But I didn't see a second run because I got screwed by Toonami (along with everyone else).

I didn't watch Gundam Wing because I simply didn't have Toonami when it was on.

I'd say Mobile Suit Gundam, because I liked seeing how Amuro's character grew from the begining to the end.

Plus, Char was pretty cool.

MSG - I'm a fan of old school animation (brings back fond memories). Good story and reasonably OK characters (no plethora of pretty boys that get turned into 'twisted' fan-fics :))

Hey, I'm a sucker for the 'pretty boys in armor' genre. :D Besides which, I've only seen bits and pieces of the other series. 8th MS Team did look pretty good though.

Gundam Wing was what I voted for, its still my favorite anime series. It is about way more than just "big giant robots beating the crap out of armies of giant robots". The battles are a major part of the story, I don't deny that, but it was also about politics, terrorism, and the fact that war is becoming a pushbutton thing we do from a distance rather than fighting the battles and understanding war's true nature. I don't say that the other gundam series don't have their meanings as well, they do, but this one is the best in my opinion.

Well, since the only other Gundam series that I've seen besides what was on the poll list is X (which I liked), so far MSG has been my favorite.

I chose "Other" and my other being Gundam X, great series, plus the pilots don't try to kill themselves 100 times throughout the series...

Gundam 0083 rocks the house because of the GP-02a. And
Turn-A Gundam looks promising if and when it comes to the states.

I thought Turn A Gundam was a very good show with well-detailed characterizations, but many Gundam fans are going to get impatient with it. There isn't a whole lot of action for the first 25 episodes or so and the pacing is rather leisurely. It's actually rather...pleasant in atmosphere. Kinda like if you mixed Studio Ghibli with Tomino...

But the Gundam universe needed a facelift and Turn A did a decent job trying to put an original spin on the franchise.

LOL I know what you mean! After watching Gundam Wing, I was very surprised when one of the main characters actually died in MSG!
