Based on a long running feud between the Gundam fans here, I thought I'd do a poll to see which of Athrun's various mean machines is most popular.

Saviour for me. I love it's design. Sure it didn't get to do much of anything, but it just looks soo cool.

How I rank them all...

Justice has got to be the Gundam design that I like the least out of a majority of the Gundam series.

This is meant to be a fun thread, but I wanna ask- why all the Aegis dislike? I love it. To me, it's a great design with a creative transformation. Saviour looks like a mess with the lazy transformation Okawara has used over and over.

Saviour looks like a mess with the lazy transformation Okawara has used over and over. I don't dislike the Aegis by any means, it just seemed to me to be an underwhelming suit despite its power. But then again one may chalk it up to a lack of animated sequences detailing more of it in action, but then again, Athrun always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to a variety of animations for his MS.

There's actually a good argument to be made for that car...

I'd probably put IJustice first, it was quite an improvement over the original and it was able to go toe to toe with Destiny and win. After that is Aegis, Savior, and the first Justice.

Toss-up between Aegis and the car.

Saviour does nothing and the Justices are overpowered SEED garbage.

I've never liked the Aegis. It was an ugly looking suit with too clunky and complex a design. I never was a fan of it's claw transformation either. I can't exactly put my finger on the exact reason why, I see it and get repulsed.

Justice, mostly because it reflected his change of heart and attuide. It's a litteral symbol of growing up.

My heart also goes to the Aegis. It was different and unquie, though rather complex.

Aegis as kickarse when it weilded the 4 beam sabres from both its arms and legs. Alas, that was it's final battle before it went blowie uppy.

I never bothered to see the ending of the show, so I have no clue the difference between Infinite Justice and the regular one. Savior would have been cool, if it had more animation.

Therefore, I vote pimpcar :p

Savior for me. I liked its design and I liked how Athrun used it as a fighter as much as a Mobile Suit.

I was never a big fan of the Justices. I hated the backpacks on both of them (though IJustice was the beam cannons mostly), and without the backpacks they just looked too empty.

Aegis just didn't click with me. I didn't like the design of its head, not did I like the hip boosters and the toe claws. The Mobile Armor form was decent, though.

Aegis never impressed me, either.

The two Justices(Justii?) are good, but a tad overpowered. I like them, but...

I gotta go with the car.

I'm proud of you. Aware of the fact Athrun and Cagalli no doubt got up to various antics in said car and you still want it. There's hope for you yet!


Aw, no love for Athrun's Zaku?

I considered it, but since it was such a minor design it would have been more of a gag entry and I wanted to save that for the car (plus, it's well documented how much I hate the ZAKUs).

I still love that freakin scene in the last 2 intros with Athrun walking away from Cagali , who is wearing nothing but lingerie and a jacket. Athrun the pimp strikes again!
