At Amazon the first 5 episode dvd of the Batman Animated series is ranked #157. Which is pretty good figure the tens of thousands of items they sell. And this does not include all of the other etailers selling it. I got that one and the 4 others from dvdplanet for cheaper than Amazon.
If you are looking for them cheaper go to www.dvdpricesearch.com You can look up the titles and see who has the best price. A few places have them for less then Amazon even with the coupons.
Hopefully, the sales will encourage Warner to release the rest of the series on dvd.

Ranking at 157 after just a few days of being up for pre-order? Heck, that's pretty damn good. Imagine how much better it will do closer to the actual release date!

Wow. That IS good! Things usually are high up in the rankings when they first open for pre-order, but that's still pretty awesome. I had no idea it would sell that well! Yay! :D

This is really good news for the DVD. This means that sales are very high, which means WB has a likely DVD hit on their hands. If anyone from WB is reading this then it should be a no-brainer - make more BTAS DVDs!

Today, Amazon's sales charts! Tomorrow, the world!
Man, this is awesome. The language WB understands is being spoken well.

New sales figures have kicked in and Justice League is now in the lead at 170, followed by BTAS at 209. I'm glad to see these sales so...high. It's great!

Dude, you should order all five!
Just becareful if you use any promo coupons, tho. If they expire before the pre order comes out you won't get them applied to your order when they fill it.

Calhoun: That has not been my experience with Amazon coupons. Any change of policy along those lines must have been very recent.

I ordered all 5 discs from www.dvdempire.com (first order from there so I'm hoping they don't disappoint). I have to say that I'm a little surprised that Justice League is the #1 seller so far, I thought it would do as well as the other discs, but not THIS well. Given the sales rankings so far, this is excellent news and I hope WB realizes it.

Did my part...ordered every one of them (plus Phantasm) except for Justice League from amazon.
Added AI to my order so I could kick it over $99 and get free shipping.

I e-mailed and asked if a coupon could be used to pre-order an item that ships after the coupon expires.
Greetings from Amazon.com.
If you use an Amazon.com coupon for this order the coupon will go through as discount at the time of ordering. However, please note that this discount may or maynot show up on your account history it will however show up when your credit card is charged at the time of shipping.
I hope that this information proves helpful. If you have anymore
questions please write back to Amazon.com.

Ok, sorry for the confusion, Brian and I were just getting contradictory information. But I think I found out the confusion on when coupons get applied and when they do not. They will not get applied if they expire before the product comes out AND you make a change to the order. So if you use those coupons, do not make any changes to the order and you will be fine. If you do need to make a change, be sure to call Amazon.com at 1-800-201-7575 and let them know you need a change and be sure to tell them you have a coupon you don't want to let fall off because you made the change.
I hope that clarifies the confusion!
