Toon Zone News previously reported (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17331) that 4Kids Entertainment had won the bidding war to program Fox Kids and would do so beginning September 2002. Today at a 4Kids conference call, it was confirmed that "Kinnikuman" and the live-action "Ultraman" would be airing on Fox Kids in the fall.

4Kids Entertainment has also expressed interest in making their own in-house animated series based on their existing properties, in addition to acquiring anime. 4Kids has the rights to all Nintendo properties and is considering a show based on the videogame "Kirby," in addition to some other Nintendo properties. At one time, they were considering a "Perfect Dark" animated series, based on the videogame of the same name. However, nothing much has been said about it within the last year. 4Kids Entertainment also owns the rights to "Thundercats," and "The Cabbage Patch Kids" properties and could make new series of each.

4Kids Entertainment is expected to announce the rest of the block within a few weeks. When it does, Toon Zone News will have a detailed look at it. Until then, stay tuned.
